CSK lost to KKR on the new pitch and accepted the mistake of mis-reading it. He didnt finger point anybody and look at warne at the same situation and blaming everybody for the loss.
Sour Grapes Sha(m)ne Warne! You won the Toss, Remember? Having won the toss and after your assessment of the new pitch, you could have anyway decided to bat. You chose to bowl. Chennai won by a mega margin of close to 70 runs. Now you blame the curator??? Give us a break!

Well if the might of BCCI affected the change of pitch at the last moment, Home teams planning and strategy goes out of window for sure.I really smell that if the pitch was changes to deny to home advantage to RR, it might be that the nature of the second strip could have been whispered to CSK.
BCCI plz wake up, as already people are loosing interest from IPL and TV points are going down. A sincere advise to DONT TAKE PAINS AND JUST SCHEDULE A FINAL BETWEEN YOUR TWO PET TEAMS

Ratan:
In the past four years we have never been told to play on any particular wicket. It is ridiculous to have instructions for pitch," Warne fumed.
"I don't want that there should be headings tomorrow that Shane Warne [ Images ] blames the pitch because it was same for both teams and I concede that we were outplayed. We were up against a side which was pumped and eager to win," he added.
You are 100% right in making your "expert" comments about what was the real issue Warne was fuming about... ;-)
