DD is one man team and that should not be
by D S on May 06, 2011 06:16 PM

DD is one man team because sehwag was deserted by those players whom he built.
Sehwag, beware, it was DC who won the match, u were lucky.
So next time, buckle up.

Sanga SHOWED disrespect for PrAgyan Ojha who got wickets during last match. He had more value for arssee kisser poison Amit mishra. And thus DC got cursed for it. they were demoralized. What helped DC was to keep C. White out.

I DONT UNDERSTAND why DC management allowed such fumble. Why they did not now put Ojha who bowled better than mishra during the earlier match.

then they did not choose to give bowling to duminy who has more experienced than the two bowlers who gave away more than 20 runs.
there was no need to play those 2 who gave away more than 20 runs. Pragyan for Amit, etc.

Yesterdays matches fixed
by Shikari on May 06, 2011 04:34 PM

Looks like both matches were fixed yesterday. Both winning teams would have been out of race if they had lost yesterday and there would have been a huge dip in the viewership. So IPL bosses may have asked the other teams to lose. KKR not chasing an easy total and Sehwag's dropped catches and crucial misfields suggest "GOLMAAL"

Great knock but dropped twice
by pradeep agarwal on May 06, 2011 01:40 PM  | Hide replies

he simply slaughtered the attack, but DC has to blame themselves as they dropped two sitters which allowed him to continue. You can't do this with someone who anyway clears the biggest boundaries with 8 man on ropes, while here is a case of 60 meters boundaries protected by 4 fielders

Even in WC final, Sangakkara missed stumping of Dhoni twice and dropped a catch before he had reached double figures. And then Dhoni played innings of his life to lift the WC.

DC has many bad fielders. Daniel Christian dropped Yusuf Pathan of KKR twice to get his team murdered by him.

It was delight to watch his innings. Fearless, Ruthless, and super quality batting under pressure.

This innings will be remembered for a long time. Any batsman would envy this kind of innings.
