The name of the IPL should be changed to MCPL (Mixed Cricket Premier League) since the teams are having foreign players. The franchisers should be prevented from hiring players from other nations to promote the Indian talent and make a best team to play for India.
In this t20 kind of game, even if you play the street cricket boys on both sides, the results will be similar.
You use the public money (from the pockets of spectators and TV TRP builders)to hire the world players for this tamasha of cricket.
It was started wronly by naming the teams after regions / cities. Now even this affiliation has lost sense. There is no local flavour of inland players in any team.
What is the point being entertained by some one who improves the prosperity of his own country at the cost of Indian players(most;y B grade bowlers) and taking away our foreign exchange.
