If Sehwag doesn't bat in bookish style and has a unique style will u ban him bcoz of that? The fact is Malinga has tremendous fitness, the wit and skill to transfer his whole momentum into his deliveries - which no other bowlers could have done before. Unconventional is one thing, Illegal is quite another. Secondly don't express your feeling as the rules of cricket. Learn the rules. 1) Legally a bowler can straighten his arm (or in other words bend his elbow) by up to 15 degrees while delivering. Malinga's elbow is almost straight (below 5 degrees) straighter than most of the good bowlers like Zaheer, Steyn etc. 2) Legally the bowler's arm should be equal to or above the shoulder level in the delivery swing. Though Malinga has a relatively low round arm action it is always above the shoulder level when he bowls. Now how can he be called a Chucker? The problem is not Malinga. The problem is everyone in India thinks of himself as a cricket expert just bcoz they watch a lot of cricket on TV. But no one tries to know the rules.

In T20 very few get wickets by bowling well -like Malinga ,Steyn . to some extent Ishant , Aswin ,RSharam etc most of the others get wickets due to batsmen faault - to hit aerially.
On what account pvi is made????????while considering players like sachin tendulkar, one should consider the tendulkar factor! He brings lots of crowd to the stands. The stadiums hosting MI matches are always full (both home and away) and TRP ratings are high only for MI matches!!Other matches do not attract crowds...This in turn adds revenue to the mumbai franchise.....So,pvi is not correct....
fekta hai..with great action..no doubt on that..admire his skill because even if one throws with great accuracy...in any case yorker is most dangerous delivery in cricket

In a low scoring match, value of each run is much more than a high cracker blitz. Tendulkar's century against Kochi is a failed effort, actually because of that MI were unable to accelerate thew runs therefore MI lost. Someone scores 19 of 6 balls is more valuable than tendulkars century. No way to sniff out match winning efforts from poor performance leading to defeat. Absolutely ignorant way of capturing fielding efforts where dropped catches or super catches dictate the result. Since this is a corporate event made purely for entertainment complaining is not the needed, any more glamour is always welcome but not at cost of decency. JOKE OF THE TOURNAMENT:- "KINGFISHER FAIRPLAY AWARD" This award is from the corporate that never plays fair, circumvents government laws, uses political power and muscle-flexing to subdue competitors and competion in it's line of business. SUCH PEOPLE SPONSORING FAIRPLAY AWARD IS GREATEST BLACK COMEDY OF OUR TIMES.

Good thing he (Malinga) mostly bowls yorkers while he chucks. If he chucked a few bouncers and killed someone, he gonna get banned for life. Chuck de Malinga
