I am not particularly a fan of ganguly. So many reasons. i mean let's accept he is a flawed player. No shots in the leg side, hardly can play rising deliveries, made some centuries against non test playing teams, lost 11 finals in a row and than lost the world cup final.
But still i like his Bad Boyish image. I mean we have lots bad boys in indian cricket team, yuvraj, harbhajan, kohli. They all are quite known for their brwals outta field.
But in field i think the only bad boy of indian cricket is Ganguly. I am not talking about simply sledging the opponents players, gambhir, zaheer, nehra can do that so well.
But here i am talking about a real gutsy flamboynt way of handling the opponent. Just aussies did for decades.
And another thing, i saw it that's why am saying
YOU CAN NEVER WRITE OFF GANGULY!!
So as i hate his dirty politics in the team, let alone be making Dravid a keeper against his will or call off the innings whn sachin at 197, I do like his dark and cold way of handing players, even his own team.
So here's the same words said so so so many times for these people
YOU CAN LOVE HIM, YOU CAN HATE HIM, BUT FOR SURE YOU JUST CAN'T IGNORE HIM.....

sourav scored his first century against England in England.He scored century against Australia in Brisbane when India was 70/4.There are so many idiots who criticize Sourav and u r one of them

To add to the brisbane innings, it showed the other team members to stay on the wicket and bat to grind result, which got us thegreat series draw, which would have been a winner had not been for a certain Mr bucknor.

You people are putting so much of time and effort on the great man. Every news chanels, web sites and everywhere people are discussing about this MAN. HE IS SO POPULAR!

Ganguly supporters need to understand one thing. KKR management is bound to reshuffle their team after their pathetic loses in the first 3 IPL. Infact, they spend more time dealing with Ganguly issue. See, the results in thie IPL. They have won 6 out of 9 matched and topping the table.
Whereever Ganguly is, all sort of politics are there. It is Ganguly's last chance to prove a point as CRICKETER and go gracefully.
I hope he wont ask for Captainship of Pune Warriors and create an another issue and a nationwide debate.
Senthil, You are insane man...Why you drag Sachin here., U r brainless kid...Sachin is 3rd Top scorer in the recent World Cup and Leading run scorer in this IPL. What are SO CALLED Youngsters doing? Sachin is a Human and not a machine? If he fails in the Final what are all the other 10 players are doing? Tell me, who is the youngster going to replace Sachin?

Either you dont understand cricket or pretend not to.
KKR is winning because of many good players in this edition. Unlike the previous time when KKR had few or no match winners.
Gayle, Mccullum out of form, pakistani players( bowlers) not allowed to play, and very average domestic players in team.
What would have ganguly done. his strike rate was less because in most matches he had to bat through the innings to ensure that team is not all out before 20 overs.
His ground fielding was always a weakness, but he more than made up for it with his catching, bowling and batting.
Just replace gambhir with ganguly with this KKR team and you would get much better results.....
I am not saying that gambhir is bad, but ganguly is much better.

Hi O M, Am not talking about Ganguly's batting. With KKR, apart from Cricket all the other controversies were there., Ganguly is a Egoistic and he had problems with the Management, Coach and even team members. For such a charismatic player, he deserves more, but becoz of petty politics he found himself in the wrong end.
