India is the favorites - yes. But has India already won the cup? It appears that the media and Indian fans already won the cup. SriLanka is not Canada. Please wait till the final is over and then you celebrate.

I agree. Its not really over until we hold the cup in hand. But winning against Pak in SF is a great feeling, so thatswhy all these celebrations. Now that its cooling, lets worry about the final hurdle.

100% true. What a tamasha going on. We Indians are good at taking every thing for granted, and pre mature celebration.
I for one will be so sorry to see a billion broken hearts if things dont go as per the commands of 1 billion fellow Indians.

Pakistan fans/ India haters need not get dejected. because, not even Afridi did not dreamt of coming so far in this tournament. Younis Khan, Kamran Akmal are equal useless players in the Pakistan team as Munaf Patel, Piyush Chawla & Nehra in the Indian team.
If Pakistan team had explosive openers like Butt, Imran Nazir, solid middle order players like Youhana & bowlers like Asif, Amir ,best spinners like Saqlain etc.. Pakistan would be a great side.
This is a kichidi side with bits and pieces of inexperienced players. Pakistan should be lucky to have reached such a stage in the world cup. Even, if there was match fixing according to imaginations, even without that this Pakistan team is not a great side....

ppl who believed it was fixed y do u watch the match. Let others enjoy the match and get entertained.PPl like you only wish that india loses and then u can start blaming the players. Rotten eggs stop watching the matches.Mind ur own business. The indian team is not asking u to watch the match.

That was the Head Line in one of the English Dailiy after yesterdays modest victory against pakistan. Well, This should be now revised as " SIMPLY MATCH FIXING MAGIC" if one ponders to the noted points after seeing the events of Yesterday's match.
1)The outcome of the Match was predtermined in host's country favour by the visiting Pak Minister and ICC President from the manner in which Mr.Tendulkar was dropped 5 times and out of that 2 times each he was dropped by normal fixing suspects like Younis Khan and Wicket keeper Mr. Kamran Akmal.
2) This was done to primarly help the Indian PM, Mr. Singh, Sonia Ghandhy, & Co. to divert the attention of the frenzy Media, Gullible People and the nation from crippling corruption and Scandals like, 2G, CWG,Adarash Defence land scam, S- band Scam, and Wikileak expose on Cash for Votes in 2008 and to keep them enthralled in "CLOUD NINE" state. on Indian Victory. So, when the whole nation was glued to TV sets looking for empty thrills in life, only the CBI, ED, and SC were working over time to File Charge sheet in 2G sacm.
3) An unusal slow batting display by Mizbha ul Haq, at crucial period of the match, who is well known for his hard hitting and brisk scoring.

Hence, after this sucessful experiment, Mr. Singh and his Advisors are now contemplating to Extend invitation to Srilankan Prez and PM to visit India to watch the Finals in Mumbai, to fix the match in India's favour.So with WC victory, they hope to keep the prying Media,Oppn, "Aam Admi" and the Nation in Cloud Nine Intoxicated state upto 2014, and forget their misdeeds in 2G, CWG, S- band, cash for Votes in 2008. This swap with srilanka in exchange for India's mum on the burning Srilankan Tamil issue, with DMK on the back foot.
