Even after Pak's defeat Afridi takes some self consolation in saying 'Humne jo kaha tha who kar dikhaya'. Mere bhai... aap harne walle hain woh bhi maloom tha kya?
Afridi's quote 'We will not allow Sachin..' is like a gamble based on theory of probabality i.e. in a high voltage 50 over match like this semi finals the chances of scoring a century by any great player would be less and that too after creating this 'mind play' three days prior to the match.
Also note barring Sachin's 85 and Hafees'z 56 no player has crossed even 50.

When India lost, its bowlers or other batsman fault that they can't take the team to winning stage..not to blame / talk about Sachin's 100s.

Lets say 2 runs needed of 1 ball and the batsman who has just walked in scores that 2 runs. Will the MOM be given to him, because if he had not scored 2 runs, the match would have been lost, inspite of many 50s by other batsmen before him????

How India will tackle two Javlin throwers in the Final? ICC became dead body. If Murli and Melinga allowed to bowl, just because of a vote of Srilanka for Sarad Pawar for his Presidency, then its a pathetic cricket. No bowlers in the Universe should be named as chucker since Murli and Melinga have been allowed to bowl. Srilankan Cricket Board is unsporting and unprofessional. They promote such kind of crooked bowlers.

It looked like that Younis khan, Misbah and Umar Gul did not wanted Afridi to lift the world Cup....This happens when the selectors delayed in announcing the captain b4 worldcup....

possible. they all underperfomed in semis along with razzaq. younis,misbah and razzaq should retire now.
Afridi's priorities in cricket seem to be funny. How can stopping Sachin from completing 100th ton be more important than winning world cup ?! Or is he showing his countrymen back home some petty achievements and escape ? I don't think Pakistani team is so bad. How can he and his teammates smile even in defeat ? He was cracking jokes !
