Thank our stars that Sachin was let-off....classic case of fortune favoring the brave Sachin finally. Look, Pakistan bowled fantastically, Wahab Riaz was in Akram mould today and practically unplayable. So were the three spinners -Ajmal, Hafeez and Afridi. We did not make the mistake Pakis later made.....going for all big shots and trying to finish in a jiffy....credit to Dhoni-Kirsten for knocking some sense into middle-lower order and Raina for his patient skills. Dhoni is putting pressure on himself by playing defense too much...he is not a defense batsman, he should promote Raina ahead of himself and come later to attack the ball, then he has a chance of scoring. heard crazy suggestions on Aaj-Tak for dhoni to come at No.3 to score. No. 3 Gambhir is doing a good job by not letting a wicket fall immediately after Sehwag which will pressurise too much like Azhar used to by gifting his wicket. No. 3 always needs to build another partnership after first wicket falls. finally, the inexperience and mental weakness of paki bats shone thru. our bowling-fielding was disciplined though not penetrative...no extras given. I was scared of ashwin not playing but today it helped due to weak Paki batsman and the crumbling low-bounce wicket. I think the man-of-match deserving was dhoni for his caiptaincy. he luckily did not make the mistake Azhar(1996) and Ganguly(2003) made. luckily, he is reading the game, situation and the conditions pretty well. hope it continues in the final.
Saw a cricket match after almost 7 yrs since the 2003 world cup final here in the US. have to say DRS system sucks. Sachin was plumb for sure against Ajmal. thats absolutely crazy. how can the technology predict where the ball is going. No doubt pakistan have fielding and batting issues but Wahab Riaz is a champ bowler. The yorker to Yuvraj was amazing but of the batting except by Sehwags cameo againt Gul was boring and torturing.
Not sure if the same luck will carry to Mumbai. Sachin is the best the 2003 knock of 98 is the greatest cricket piece I have seen against Pak on a neutral ground against Waqar, Wasim, shoaib, razzaq and afreedi.
Sri Lanka will give a tough fight and I want India to win but I also want the team that works the hardest to win. UDRS system is horrible for the sport because for one its not accurate.
Just an american desi tellin ya'll how it is. No one gets that many chances. Absolutely no one in any sport.

I myself have blocked it! By the way, opinion of Viswasam was so pathetic he deserves that...statement How can one dictates his abuse to admirable & good Captain. Dhoni has done great captaincy and I will not accept his words. He can abuse selection commitee if he wants not the players!

It is selection which forces its decision on team... (everybody knows caste & regional politics in India) lucky captain can still have some word for his team. At the end team is winning by right bowling strategies & admirable captainship.
i m n indian,pakistan fighted brilliantly with the ball but the way senior players like misbah and younis had delivered.. it was very disappointing... really feeling for pakistan fans... but well played india.. better luck next time pak...

definately the match was fixed since afridi did not take the batting powerplay at all till 45th, a batsman having 113% strike rate demotes himself and does not take batting powerplay when the odds for the match is 10000 crores looks fishy, they could not have mad money by winning , made money by losing in a match for life
