If NZ would have managed to take one wicket (either Mathews / Samara) NZ would have won for sure. Also Jessy Rider gave away three 4's in the slog over....coz of that asking rate has come down..
The image that will always stay with me is that of Nathan McCullum congratulating Sangakara after the match. They embraced each other and McCullum was genuine and spontaneous. Very sportsman like. That is what sports is all about!
At least the match was not one sided like the SL-Eng QF. My heart goes out to the New zealanders and the way they fought on the field to restrict the srilankans. But looking back, NZ have only themselves to blame. Just did not have enough runs on the board to challenge the srilankans. Hopefully in the next WC of which they are co-host, NZ will come up with a better performance.....

The action is ok, side-arm is legal. People find it difficult because it is rare and he is fast and accurate. But he does chuck the odd ball, which has to be reviewed and action has to be taken.

NZ had a chance of winning after the 5th wicket of SL. But, they wasted the opportunity!
