Go to Youtube, search for "Spirit of India" and watch how the crooked Dhoni appealed for a catch while it was sure dat it touched the ground...
Its good for ricky and aus cricket that after wc, they hv a new captain, who can lead probably till the next two world cups. This is the first step towards re-building. Probably (of course now in hindsight), this should hv been done before the Ashes. With Ricky performing as a batter, the Ashes result might hv been different. U never know............

Ponting had more foes than friends, exactly like Saurav Ganguly.
Many people allege that he inherited some legends and he became a successful captain. This is partly true. When you get high performers in your team who are senior to you, the biggest challenge is to manage them. And he did it very well by winning 2 world cups and several tournaments. He came to India in 2009 with several newcomers and beat India 4-2. His team won ICC CT 2009 in South Africa. They had also won 2005 CT. All these achievements must be a matter of envy for any captain.
All those childish opinions about him by immature people like he was arrogant, had attitude problems etc are defensive statements. The fact is that cricket in Australia is on serious decline and they will never be the same again.
Hats off to you Ponting, your century at Ahmedabad will be remembered for a long time to come. This match had a clear verdict - Welcome to you as a batsman, farewell to you as captain.
