India should loose this match for good of our country. If we loose, the people will dislike cricket and every one will concertate on their work.

The father of Cricket (England) have joined minnows club. Australia stopped producing outstanding cricket talents a decade back. Once Invincible West Indies has no talent left now.South Africa team has no character left.

This World cup has proved that Cricket is a SAARC game sans the odd NZ.

these hawala Mofos have turned cricket into a mockery with fixing. if left alone they will even fix their wives and daughtersss too... such are these characterless crooks. if match tilts to any side people immediately call it match fixing... under such pressure how can a player perform ? ...every move of his is watched with magnifying lens.... this is sheer paranoia..... i think ICC should ban india and pakistan from world cricket.. then there won't be bookies ..no money no hype and no BS from media. then a sport would truly remain a sport

by Wanderlust on Mar 29, 2011 08:55 AM

this opportunistic media always drumps up the matches ...on either side of the border and fuels the fire. It is no doubt that this match is between arch rivals ...we also know pakis explicitly try to make it look like hindu-muslim. we already have so many divisions and points of contention... why media need to cash in ? if left free these mediapersons will even sell themselves for few bucks more

indian media still sings praise of pakistan ...but you will not see one paki praising indian achievements with the same breadth ...call it slave mentality of indians ...exactly the same mentality why we chicken out to pakis...and they always act like pampered kids

It is unncessary to bring so much politics and probably the stake of a country in this semi-final.
It is really unfortunate that the players are put to such enarmous pressure. I feel very sad that one team has to lose.

Cricket is a team game
by exit reality on Mar 29, 2011 08:38 AM

Whoever playing in the 11, cricket is a teamgame and everyone has to contribute. There is collective responsibility for winning and loosing. Captain should be more responsible as he has role in deciding the team and taking decisions on the field. Cricket is a professional game and there is no scope for favoring any person unnecessarily. Prefer only 100% mentally and physically fit players.

EUPHORIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by sumant padhi on Mar 29, 2011 08:38 AM

The Euphoria for this semifinal match is highly exaggerated. The players will be little more apprehensive about the out come since this is a knockout match.
Inexperienced players will need mental support from the senior players.
And the extra pressure because its being played at home ground and ur playing ur enemy nation the fear of failure will be a major concern.
And the enemy nation is in terrific form . But India will shine in a manner nobody would have dreamed.
India will register a thumping victory over our enemy.
