Dhoni..... the worst captain Team India ever had.
by rkdmumbai on Mar 28, 2011 07:34 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni needs no bowler to bowl him out..
He will be out on his own...
Team India is playing without a good captain as their leader.. Even we have seen Shahid Afridi is being respected by other players but in case of Dhoni... only advertisement agencies are praising him.. no one else.
Best of Luck to Team India.... play your own game.. you will win world cup 2011... Let Dhoni lift it, he is fit for that.. helicopter shot... hahahaha.

Ind vs Pak
by Bigthree on Mar 28, 2011 07:29 PM

Well! I definitely wish that India should go all the way. But, the following are the factors that make me think that Pak are more likely to win.

1. Pak has not beaten India in WC ODI tournaments before. Law of averages is likely to catch up.
2. Pak are more desperate to prove a point here as they are removed as WC hosts and got hit badly due to the fixing allegations. Remember Shoaib's dialogue 'We are hurt and we are here to hurt'. That underlines the intensity of Pak team.
3. India's victories are closely fought. Pak won comfortably against SL,Aus and WI. So, they are more clinical than us.
4. India depends on the batting. All our batsmen have peaked and there is a possibility that the law of averages catch up and I am afriad we don't catch up with that like we did in WC 2003 final.
5. Pak's bowling form is really great and our openers are also in line for 'law of averages'. They have succeeded well so far and its another scary record to carry.

I wish India should go all the way but the above points make me nervous and I am pretty sure India is the side under tremendous pressure ahead of this encounter.

Indian govt has invited Paki PM to India. Cricket fever has reached all time high. Govt should also announce a day for working class.

unless its modeling or movies, we don't judge people by their looks but their talent ... which evidently you have none.

Corrections :

You ought to have written

'by their looks but BY their talent'

'which evidently you do not have at all'

Whoever bowls India's gonna win
by Arvind Aravindanatham on Mar 28, 2011 06:54 PM

Gul won't be able to get the top order Indian batting on a Mohali batting wicket, and he will most likely bowl with Shoaib Akhtar or crap bowler Wahab Riaz, Riaz is'nt effective and Shoaib Akhtar won't be able to bowl more than 3 over spell. Mohali wicket is of no help for spinners, so their spinners Ajmal or Rehman and Afridi won't do much on this wicket. And I expect drop catches and stump chances missed by Akmal.
This is going to be match between 2 batting sides and here India has comfortable edge with finishers like Yuvraj and Raina to complete the job, I'm more concerned about Mumbai final and Indian team's complacency, Pak semi final match is a piece of cake.
