Can someone please jog Viru's memory that he said that he will bat for all 50 overs in ODIs. The stage is set, the time is right, the occassion is pefect - go out and just do it once. Everything else will take care of itself.
Bhajji is past due by sell date. He is no more the same successful bowler that he used to be. Never mind taking wickets, he just bleed runs. Why are they playing him on his past laurels, then may be play Kumble or even Bedi for that matter. Can the selectors and Dhoni be brave enough to play Yusuf for Bhajji? If Afridi is in groove, he will hit them equally long and far. But then Yusuf can atleast give it back.
The advantages India has - Home support - In form Batting - fielders putting in more effort - 4 wins in 4 games in WC Advantages Pakistan has - Lesser pressure for away match - Brilliant bowling attack. Should the pitch have anything for bowlers India is finished. - Belligerent batsmen who can take advantage of the lollipop bowlers India depends on - All in all better balance in team - 2 wins in 2 matches at Mohali against India
A very equal contest with contrasting strengths and characters. It will basically be a battle between the best bowling in the WC against the best batting in the WC.

I don't understand why say Pak has 'Brilliant Bowling' attack? Looks to me that India has as good if not bethher then Pak.
Mind you, Pak played their league games in SL where pitches turns a lot then in India..
