ITS PAKISTAN VERSUS SRILANKA in WC 2011 FINAL

Sharad power and BCCI concerned about turnout for IPL

Sonia and psuedo secularists celebrate in secret.

Indian muslims distribute sweets in hyderabad old city.

Dhoni and team to go on a long holiday to introspect loss.

Major backlash expected aganist players in hometowns.

Why do you ask ? Cricket is busniess, plain and simple. As everybody expects india to win tomorrow, the betting bosses will ensure the exact opposite. Plus it is also good for the minority appeasement in this country.

Don't believe me. Wait and watch.

By the way, I still wish India the very best for the match. Odds are against us but we should triumph.

-Irresponsible for an adult (if you are) to draw premature conclusions.
- Immature to think that majority of Indian muslims secretly favor Pakistan.
- Every politician is a pseudosecularist. As long as talk of secularism benefits his/her personal agenda he she remains at it, otherwise gives it a wide birth. In fact we are all pseudos, whether pseudosecularist, psudohumanist, pseudowhatever. So no big deal.
- Why do you think that odds are against us? Is Pakistan team to be feared (On paper and by form Indian team is better) or are these our own imposed fears?
- Sonia and others cannot care less who wins and who loses(unless it is an election). It is only we dumb citizens who are swayed by such emotions. Politicians are not driven by emotions and ideplogy, only strategy.

The point is that Kalis has not mentioned any word on incident which was sparked between SA players and NZ . Now when Sree was involved last time , there was big cry ? Why ? because we are Asians and in SA white are born to dominate . MSD please wake up . We are unfortunate to have you as leader .

I hope this prediction is true, though odds are stacked in puckistan's favor.

Their bowling seems too hot at the moment.

Their bowling is as good as our batting team.

Rule of thumb is " A good bowling team is better than a great batting team"

Feels like a bilateral series...
by Manu Zach on Mar 28, 2011 12:56 AM  | Hide replies

The matches involving the host teams-especially India and Sri Lanka seems to be played like matches in a bilateral series. In those type of matches, the wickets are prepared according to the strengths of the 'home' team.
But despite being a World Cup, the conditions are overwhelmingly in favour of the host nations. May be because of desperation due to the long Aussie domination, it seems that Indian and Sri Lankan cricket boards have dished out absolute dust bowls. The manner in which teams like England, Australia and South Africa were knocked out underlines this fact.
A good cricket pitch - especially those for prestigious tournaments like the World Cup should be a sporting one. As they say "there should be something for all". But unfortunately, this edition of the Cup missed the charm of the previous ones.

These are sour grapes n rotten mangoes for sure, that made these statements..

When spin bowling is an important dimension of cricket and these so called masochists refuse to admit their weakness of playing against spin time and again..

Do they prepare a dust bowl in perth?? Didn't India play there and win a test match against OZ..
Try to accept defeat gracefully or quit the game..

Very good point. For understanding the 'conspiracy' one doesn't have look that far back. In the India vs Australia match, even Sachin Tendulkar who hasn't bowled in ODIs since 2009 was asked to bow his spinners. 35 overs of spin....that's a lot.
O one hand, even bowlers like Dale Steyn, Bret Lee were treated like club bowlers by the batsmen and on the other part-timers like Yuvraj, Mohd.Hafeez, Dilshan etc are making life difficult for the batsmen.
You are absolutely right. It seems to be a well thought-out plan to 'any how' bring the WC back to the place, out of where the maximum income from the game comes.

I don't agree with you any team worth its salt would play on any track without any complains ofcourse home team has its advantages but the pressure is also on the home team to perform so this evens out the battle its all mind games in the end world class teams perform everyplace no matter where so its gonna be a great spectacle!!

Home team used to have advantage when World cup was played in England(1975, 1979 and 1983), but they never won it.In 1987, 1996 India reached the semi final as a host, but could not win it. SL won in 1996 (not a host). That was non commercial era.

But this World cup is different, commercialized to the extreme. And the whole commercial success depends on where Team India ends. If Team India wins this tournament then the biggest beneficiary will be the Cola companies, consumer companies, Bookies and the sponsors who are controlling the matches.

If India had lost to Australia, and not reached SF then all the show would had been over and all the above controlling authorities would had been crying like they did in 2007.

IT is INDIA - PAK war in MOHALI!!
by k p on Mar 28, 2011 12:12 AM  | Hide replies

Mohali is going to witness an India-Pak War! India-Pak Prime Ministers are
watching from Gallery! Indians all over the world are watching India-Pak
final! Now, the Question is NOT which team is going to win. The Question
whcih nationality is going to get the BIGGEST INSULT!!

India: The main str is batting of Sachin. If Yuvi is NOT shining well,
our hope is perished! As usual Dhoni will make 10 runs and get out and go
to Meida for interview - to say some excuses and put the blame on his own
colleagues! The problem with us is we have a bunch of paper tigers both in
bowling and batting!
In batting, if Sree is not introduced, India cannot put up a good pace attck!
IF SREE IS NOT SELECTED FOR THIS MATCH, GOOD FOR HIM because Pak batsmen will
attack Indian pacers without mercy! As usual Bhaji, Dhoni, Nehra, Chawla etc.
are only symbOlic presence in the team - in fact they are liability to the team!
The only Q ia: Is there any pressure on them NOT TO PLAY GOOD! Dhoni's
peformance is a strong indication that he is playing in the team - for the Betting
Industry to make them rich!

Pak: If their President/PM is watching this game from gallery, Pak team will
play like born champions! Any pace or teethless spinning attack on them will
bring national shame on Indian mind and the DEEP WOUND that create will never
heal! IF WE FAIL, it is Dhoni, nobody else who will be the culprit! Indians
will stone him in India wherever he goes!
