One player's fitness should not affect a team's performance, otherwise it does not deserve to be a team. I think there are replacements in the form of Suresh Raina that can fill the gap if Sehwag is really not fit with Sachin and Gambhir opening.

you can still dominate pakis on your home turf where pakis would be under pressure too...whereas there is nothing ...absolutely nothin by which you can scare aussies...

they have not played any pressure game until now... when expectations rise see how they would fall like pack of cards...pakis are not great side...they are just lucky...ask them to face aussies in knockout phase then u will see
I personally think, Sreeshanth should be included in the playing 11 against AUS. Sree can deliver the balls in much pace than Munaf and Nehra where al our pace bowlers are same in terms of wicket taking and giving runs except Zaheer. So it will be an advantage using sree to keep the pace and pressure on batsman in order to support Zaheer.

my friend, it was not a regional comment...and i am talking about the INDIAN CRICKET TEAM only...
group A match of pakis and aussies was a deliberate ploy of aussies to put teams into miscalculation... they are masters of guises and they stored their best for knockout stages...they will show their true potential from now on...sledging agression power hitting ...they will give their best now
so going by paki aussie match which was deliberate aussie ploy to lose, we shouldn't miscalculate their batting strength.... more than their bowling ..their batting is going to surprise us
media is playing up the sentiments... as usual sub-continent people are emotional idiots. we have to cut media interference into games.... media briefings should be held only post match... ICC should pass rulings in this direction...because for aussies or other countries it has least effect but whereas for sub-continent teams pressure is immense and even good players can buckle under pressure... its no more sport...its like horse racing... infact good performance of pakis was because they were written off so players have absolutely no pressure and they have been relatively lucky to have faced WI which is weakest among QF teams.
