The best team for the game against Australia is 1. Gambhir. (If Sewhag is injured) 2. Tendulkar. 3. Virat Kolhi. 4. Raina. 5. Yuvraj Singh. 6. Yusuf Pathan. 7. Dhoni. 8. Ashwin. 9. &nb sp; Zaheer. 10. Harbhajan. 11. S reesanth.
1. Raina should be retained in the place of Gautham Gambhir, who is out of form since September-2009. Also, Raina is a better fielder & useful bowler than Gambhir. 2. Raina should be sent ahead of Yuvraj Singh because Yuvraj has played only against the weaker teams & he cannot take the singles/force the pace in the middle overs that too against Australian bowlers. Taking singles is the middle overs is the key to success which Virat Kolhi & Raina are best at. 3. Yusuf Pathan should be sent when spinners (Kreja) or Shane Watson operate because he can handle them easily & not in the power plays when Lee or Tait is operating. 4. Munaf patel should in now way be selected because he does not know to Bat, Field or Bowl. In comparison, Sreesanth is a better fielder than Munaf, can score at least 2 runs/hang around & is a much more aggressive/strike bowler than Munaf/Nehra. 5. Also, Ashwin who is a better batsman than Harbhajhan Singh & Zaheer should be sent after Dhoni. 6. Power plays should be taken in-between the 35th & 45th overs when players like Yuvraj are batting who will not throw his wicket easily.

All great players & match winners like sachin, lara, Viv Richards,Jaysurya, Gilcrist etc never wanted to be captain as they are too big a player & their expection from others become unachievable.

then y do people praise him ahead of dhoni..if you have limited capability of only batting..y not try to do multiple things like batting, captain, and then do the camparison

Mr Venky Donot comapre GOD of cricket sachin with DOG of cricket dhoni. It is insult of cricket or sports. Dhoni even as a player never desrve a place in any team.
We can't underestimate the aussies based on their performance against Pakistan.They can bounce back on us quite strongly.So a combination of 3 fast bowlers and 2 spinners is ideal against them in crucial contests.If we can restrict them inside 200 runs, we have every chance to win (or) if we chose to bat first it is mandatory that we score above 275 runs given the fact our bowling attack isn't good enough.

good one i mean you are absolutely righr........................ if they bat first mind u they will cross the score of 2003 final... ........of 349 ... they are going to make morethan 350 - 400 ....... ....all the best dhoni. you guys have to play really really well throw yourself in the field. ...stop about 40 odd runs.
