hai i think it will be tough match between ind vs aus it will be 60:50 per-cent for AUS:ind to win the game i think it wil be really tough to win for india as we have to execute the short balls well it entirely depends on sewag and sachin any one of the player should bat throughout 50 overs.uv,raina and co are facing trouble with short balls so aus strategy will be to bowl short to all the indian players

Both India and WI tried for losing the match
by sridharan on Mar 21, 2011 11:31 AM  | Hide replies

Both India and West Indies tried to lose the match but ultimately WI tried too much and gited the match to India. Devon Smith was playing steadily. But all of a sudden he got out to Zaheer. That ball he got bowled was also not that good one. WI thnks that they can win against Pakis ratehr than Auzis. But Auz is velnerable now, without a spinner. I think, India can easily win at Ahmedabad.

Even if India lost to WI, they would have been playing against SL, since England's NRR is very low. India basically needed to lose by a huge margin to go below England's NRR

It would have been Sri Lanka (2nd ranked in the other group)and not Pakistan. Anyways don't worry, it will be tension free Semis and Final for the Indian Fans.

3 spinner and one pacer against Australia
by rjalovers22@rediffmail.com on Mar 21, 2011 11:17 AM  | Hide replies

India should play 3 spinners against Australia as they are not good in playing spin.I mean harbhajan, piyush n aswin should be picked in the game against australia.Only Zaheer is taking wickets in the pace department.Cut Munaf as he is hopeless as a bowler, fielder and batsman.

India could win only if they play with their strengths.
The strengths are batting lineup and quality spinners. That Australians and proteas doesnt have.
Against S africa and Australia,They should add an extra spinner.

I know there are lot of part time spinners.
But as the situation demands,You need Piyush also

better to play sreesanth instead of chawla. At least sreesanth will irritate the aussies and maybe one or two will lose their wickets.

No..i cant agree with you. Chawla is not better than Munaf..they both are one and same..So better to play with 2 pacers
