Pakistan win
by French Cuisine on Mar 20, 2011 09:03 AM

Congratulations to the Pakistan team for winning against the Aussies, their hard work in practice has shown - and they proved that good leadership, team spirit and hard work can defeat even the strongest opponents. I think Australia underperformed massively, they might have been complacent before going into the contest and did not play professionally as usual. Had they scored around 220 they would have won, but inexplicably their batting collapsed. Apart from Lee's bowling the Pak batsmen were never in real danger. The Aussie batsmen are not adept facing spin bowling and more importantly I believe there are problems with captain Ponting. He is being criticized and his time is not going well. He got it wrong, next time they will get it right in the quarter final. Australia has a better side than both Pak and India. Therefore I think avoiding Australia in QFs will be a good thing for India.
