Dhoni has been extremely stubborn on the issue of playing with Piyush Chawla as the second spinner and the selection committee thinks that "it's time R Ashwin is given a chance".

No doubt Dhoni is a politician..you can't create rifts..first it was Sreesanth..now Ashwin This Jharkhandi has been thinking too much of himself..he is riding on other's luck with out contributing

I think it is time now to give Dhoni a break. There are lot of better Wkt keepers in India. and Give Sewag the Captancy. remove all bowlers except Zaheer and Bhajji. Bring all new faces. Dont take any one if he dont know how to field or catch the ball. bring two fast bowling allrounders. Then we can win next world cup.
A couple of days back, two selectors had a talk with Dhoni and he was clearly told that "Chawla has got enough chances" and that Ashwin should be in the playing XI. But the skipper was not ready to budge, even though there are senior members in the team who believe that the TN offie should get his chance.
From an adventureous and maverick batsman who could turn the game on its head, he has become a nudger now. We cannot afford to have 3 similar batsmen in top 6 for one-dayers i.e. Gambhir, Kohli and Dhoni. This is hurting the team big time.
