BCCI lacked the courage of complaining the ICC about the poor umpiring by Ashok D'Silva during several occasions.In fact Ashok D'Silva has been shown the door five years later than he should have been.But any way, better late than never.
Eating habits determines umpire quality. North Indian umpires eat Dhal and aloo-paratha, which gives excess of gas and flatulance which leads to scratching of head. Lankan umpires eat kothu roti which contains sodium carbonate is responsible for bad umpiring. Ayurvedic view of decisions

Srilankan umpires are worst. Earlier pakis were like that. But they use to decide intentionally. But srilankans hardly have any intelligence. Disilva, Dharmasena, and others like those giving dravid runout when ball didnt touch filders are pathetic. Also cricket has bcom "Slaves' game" where Slaves (cricketers) are paid well but cant express feelings about umpires.

the elite panel of umpires(for test matches & ODI's) has umpires from australia,england,new zealand,pakistan,south africa,zimbabwe & sri lanka.only india is not represented. can one throw light on this?

Indian empires are always Partial. Remember one empire (I forgot his name), was giving out Ajay Jadeja in a match but after protest he started acting as if he was scratching his head :D . There are numerous other examples like Saheba etc, who are not fit for empiring.

what about indian umpires?ameesh saheba,c.r.bansal were biased.only mr.venkataraghavan and hariharan were good.

Yes guys...truly it is a waste if the onflield umpires are biased or have that ego in them. It is better umpires rethink of their decisions after the Review and more over the 2.5 meters rule is absurd. If you are relying on technology then go by technology or keep the technology aside and depend on the instincts of the onfield umpires. The decision which went against Indians in India V Australia (lbw of bell) was worst decision. When the replays was showing that the ball would hit middle and leg the decission had to be out. I was in the Chinnaswamy Ground watching that match and the crowd was totally shocked to see that it was given not out. Anyways, we cant get umpires like Shepard and Dickie Bird anymore. Those are genuine umpires who were almost right all the time..and now we see these silly guys like dharmasena and ashoka de silva and others...who are patriotic to their countries and not the profession..

it took the world cup for the icc panel to realise the incompetency of asoka de silva. he has been one of the worst umpires around so far.
Poor Ireland bore the brunt of Ashoka de silva's goof-ups, Wilson was well set at that time playing briliantly & could have taken his side to a win - & thus maybe a well-deserved quater-final berth to the Irishmen for their outstanding performance in the world-cup.
Ashok de silva is not wort to be an umpire in ICC elite panel He must be sacked out of the panel immediately.If these decision continuous this will have worse affect
