It seems our mentality to see only batting batting and batting is costing us crucial matches. The soft spot for only batsman certainly going against bowlers. We never prepare a pitch to groom fast bowlers and yet we expect them to perform to defend a total. I am always at pains to see only one or two genuine fast bowlers for India at one time since I started watching cricket. Wish BCCI gives some chances to fast bowlers to grow. What will happen if Zaheer retires? India will be known for spinners only and not able to defend a 400 score.

how it's made easy for india?nothing is there.don't underestimate westindies.they have beaten india many times in india.
First wkt partnership of 142 runs in 17.4 @ 8.3 and Shewag was out for 73 runs attempting a rash shot to score runs. When Sachin got out on 111, score was 267 in 39.4 overs @ 6.8. After scoring 50 in 33 balls, no need for this slow down when you had wkts in hand, except for his century. Other batsman to increase run rate played big shot and got out. Suroeised that everybody blaming Nehra and Dhoni
india never took a tough decesion for right combination.india very weak in fielding &bowling department but india should to try this combination sachin, sehwag, kohali,dhoni,yuvraj,raina,pathan,harbhajan,ashvin,zaheer,srishant.this combination is well for bowl &fielding. here is only tough decesion for ganbhir.he is picked in squad as opner batsman & we have top class opner thats why he have to opt from playing eleven
Let us accept the fact : we have not won so far a single match convincingly. Our bowlers except Jaheer are below their performances. So whom to blame ? While Nehra has lost his rythem, Munaf has survived because of luck and mercy from opponents, also he is not at all aggresive. Only we have survived because of batting. so I shall not be surprised if India fails to make it to semifinal. Sometimes I feel, cricketers are less brainy, thanks 9 wickets fell for 29 runs against S Africa. Perhaps Srikant and others are also responsible, we have population to boast of, but no effecive bowler PCMoharana, Jodhpur
Today England will win. Day after tomorrow, Bangladesh will also win. This will increase the TRP of the Sunday's India- WI Match. And then the blockbuster will come - India will win aagainst WI to reach QF as Group Champ. In this game, WI will be ultimate loser !!!
