dhoni is adamant in playing chawla because he wants to prove his critics wrong by selecting him instead of amit mishra/pragyan ojha.Well it seems sucess has gone into his head and has started believing that he cannot put a foot wrong.History is live with such examples , where such an attitude has brought downfall from glory.the final nail in the coffin will be when india will be eliminated in the quarter finals.He should be instead advised that a true winner is one who is open to options and flexible.

Keeping Ashwin out of the match is very good stratgy for knock-out stage. Three leg-spinners frm other teams are getting too many wickets, so Chawala should play.
At the end winning, thats what it matter and India didn't loose any match under Dhoni's leadership so far.

Dear friend its only Piyush Chawla due to him we were compelled to accept tie match with England and his bowling is not least impressive niether he is economical nor wicket taker if he is taking only two wickets it would not solve the purpose while on the other hand Yuvraj is not a regular bowler still he is taking too much wickets and ecomomical too.If Piyush performance with weaker teams are like this how we can expect any more from him if he play with WI, Australia, Pakistan I assure we will loose matches in last overss bowled by Chawla.....

guys, it's easy to sit in AC room and then write on rediff forum. Most of us will agree that Dhoni got far superior cricketing brain and leadership skill than we bloggers. He knows the best about situation. Let him take decision and stop being a cry baby. I think we are critising dhoni too much. The biggest problem with dhoni is that there is not a wicket taking bowler. He also knows the weakness of our bowling which we see in every match so far we play. About Chowla although he struggle in his line and legnth but one should not forget that he is the only bowler in this team who is looking a wicket taking bowler as you must have been against Netherland when all bowler had failed it was only Piyus who opened the gate for India and the delivery was superb.

Dhoni deserve criticism as he is much interested for bowling by Piyush u know very well second last over was bowled by Piyush Chawla to England he 2 sixes was given to Englaand which was the main reason as that match was tie due to Piyush chawla only and taking in Piyush chawla is the pressure from Dhoni only why not taking Ashwin? now we are alreay entered in qr final we can take ashwin to test by replacing Piyush....so as we can decide that Chawla is better or Ashwin for Final or semi final?????

Dear Anil, do u know what happened to Afridi, Akhtar and Razzak in NZ match. If batsman is out to screw a bowler on batting pitch, no bowler can do anything. England match pitch has nothing for bolwer,so not only chalwa, every bowler from both side got screwed.

Dear Friend but if u copare Yuvraj bowling with Piyush Yuvraj is far far better while he is not a regular bowler but we can not accept with Yuvraj much when playng with strong teams. If we can not expect from Yuvraj than how we can expect from Piyush???Why not giving chance to Ashwin now? so as we can think options from Piyush and Ashwin in Semi Final or Final matches

This is only difference between a successful person Dhoni and we losers. Successful plans for everything and we just bark without knowing abc. Anil, have you ever bowled a single over to any good cricker in your life. If you are a call center guy, just comment about call center people not about cricketers.

Also, one more thing minnow team doesn't mean gully cricketers. They are also best of their countries. They just have less match practice , not less in talent.

India can win if Piyush Chawla replaced by Ashwin. Nehra should be given chance for bowling, Harbhajan make impressive bowling and should be wicket take and our fielding need much home work and they all should concentrate...Regarding betting is good but patience needed specially Sehwag and Sachin should stay for 25-30 overs if Dhoni keep all these in mind with actual improvement than we can definaltely win...

Agree with u that Piyush hasnt performed well and Dhoni himself said Ashwin is going to play a major role in the future matches probably from next match!! Lets wait for next match n if Chawla still plays, lets start our music!! It will be apt rather than shouting now..
