ENGLAND - HALF DOWN
by madanmohan siddhanthi on Mar 07, 2011 12:47 PM  | Hide replies

He may not have scored lot of runs in Wc but his presence was intimidating to opponents and this England will not be able to recover from this .De Facto their campaign is coming to an end.

won two matches and drew one but no where they are looking like a champion side. In fact they were just lucky. Had irishmen scored about 250 odd then india was gone. But luck cant hold for ever and may very well run out in qtrs.

What is the meaning of if or had...
Had irishmen scored about 250?
Had Sehwag scored 100, then match will be over in 20 overs...

rajesh..analysis is made by the way things were moving..at 120 odd for 2 in 25 overs..till even when 4 wkts were down..ireland looked set for above 250 total..but sehwag and co failed miserably..try and understand where if and but needs to be used.

Blessing in disguise
by ASHOK IYER on Mar 07, 2011 11:48 AM

The loss of Pieterson is a blessing in disguise for England. he was a mismatch as an opener. Now the replacement Mr Morgan is quality middle order batsman and help England to Choose Collingwood As a slow bowler. His batting may of a worry but his bowling will help England in the later stages of the game.

Does not want to miss IPL.
by B M on Mar 07, 2011 11:37 AM

Pieterson does not want to miss IPL, so he would rather miss WC and get operated now to be ready in time for IPL.
