India should change their batting order depending upon circumstances.
For instance, if India is 1-2 wkts down in 30 overs, the next batsman should be Yusuf. He gets ebtter when he has time. Sending him in about 45 overs, he will tend to score about 10 quick runs; which is not good.
Of course, he should not come 2 down if the overs left is 40. The ball should be relatively older for him to perform.
Opening pair should be right-left; I still prefer Shewag ang Gauti rather than Sachin in the opening. The S-G pair are better suited and would tarnish bowlers.
In both the last two matches where England were involved,both the teams,India and England,after crossing 300,felt they have scored enough.And again,while fielding ,they initially felt they can defend that score without much worries.
