I think Gilly is right is his opinion to use stringent penalties. Pakistan team has already spoiled and tarnished the game to a great extent. The subcontinent teams (barring India coz there players earn heavily from IPL and ads) were infected by this disease but I think now some players from Kiwi, Australia and England are also involved in spot fixing. I think ICC is merely a spectator now and a bunch of businessmen ! Cricket is now a business and connoisseur like me are loosing interest !
The whole of Mumbai is proud that Mumbai's son Dawood bhai is the owner of ICC, and that he along with his cronies the ICC President, Tendulkar, Dhoni, and all ICC Teams fixes all the matches. Who would have imagined that a street boy can put all the so called idols of cricket in his pocket and play to his wishes. All the participating teams are involved in Match fixing and our so called idols are also deep in it. So Dawood bhai apko Mumbai wasiyon ka salaam! Moral of the story : Dont watch ICC cricket tournaments, instead watch Ranji Trophy or your Gully matches as they are never fixed! Jaago grahak jagoo!

This time team england is suspicious of wrong doings.....first a tie with india scoring 337 and then ireland chasing 300 plus score..smells somthing fishy about England
then clearly it is not Kevin O'Brien it is Indian bookies. Even Sidhu said that Ireland would surprise us with their spirit and unexpected courage, the day before.
This means that players like Sidhu and Warne are well connected into a clearly vast betting scam, and the World Cup is pretty badly rigged.
Dont we remember the way Azhar, Jadeja, Mongia and company used to snatch defeat from almost certain victory positions?
Had I known about Warne's tweet I would not have been so happy about O'Brien.
Basically the English dropped a lot of catches.
That is it.
See how Pakistan played badly today against Canada. I think Zulqarnain Haider is a very brave and upright man and needs to be protected and applauded for exposing fixing in the subcontinent, especially Pakistan.
Note that the Dawood-Mumbai-Hawala connection makes Indians thoroughly implicated wherever Paki bookies are to be found.
Certain Mumbai Police officers will be involved in the knowledge at least, if not the profits.

I'm not saying that Sidhu and Warne are involved, I'm saying that if a top businessman or a commentator or a playing cricketer tells them - "look, tomorrow expect Ireland to crash the English party."
Or something like "if I were betting, I'd bet on Canada showing some resolve against Pakistan, you know ... what I mean..."
And then Sidhu / Warne / other senior commentator just slips in a comment or tweet to test the waters or enter the record, so that the strings can be picked up later on.
This is a good thing.
More commentators should make predictions, so that more noise is added to the signals flying around.
Should disrupt a few big bets and get some genuine results.
Just like how Julian Assange proposes to break conspiracies by breaking their networks :-)

All are involed only politicians in this country are clean.Rest all ae frauds. Sachin playing for 20 years is all because of match fixing.Kumble playing with broken jaw is also match fixing. Everybody is fraud apart from Diggy Khan and the Politicians of India. Sharad Pawar, Sonia Gandhi, Advani all are very very clean they love INDIA more than Sachin/Kumble/Dhoni/Dravid will ever do
We control ICC. We are the corruptest country. 8 of our past 16 Chief Justices were corrupt. Not to mention about CVC Thomas. How can our cricket be clean.
