It would be harsh if I say this for the best bowler in the tournament but the truth is that Afridi chucks the ball often and that's what he call it as googly...!!!
As the tournament progresses it is evident that big gigantic teams find it hard to defend their huge totals against the teams of mediocre batting strength. India vs England match is a big evidence. But here, Pak standouts as a dangerous side with lethal bowling armory that can defend the totals so mediocre and so little with brilliance and expertise
They almost fixed the match (Akmal brothers and some bowlers) but there Captain had spoiled there party ! They must have had some solid reprimand from 'Bhais' after the match !

Who said he isn't? Read what is written by 'Ian Chappel', and respond. I know you are a Paki, but that shouldn;t mean that you should support all the criminals in green shirt. It is better for your own country / religion if you can bring some honest people to represent the country.

No doubt, i am fan of good game not nation.... I agree with u Afridi has done wonderful job this time... But, i am sure by the down the line he himself will declared he had tempered the ball as Mr. Imran Khan has reveled few week back how he has won WC in his captaincy...... How people will trust what they do??
has greater chance to win in comparison to India, although its batting is poor. In any form of the game, bowlers win matches 8 out of 10 times. Whereas A team with best batting line but poor attack can win matches 4 out of 10 times. Batsmen can not matches consistently, chasing big totals against a good bowling attacks. It is just unrealistic to think that they can....because one ball, good or bad or one mistake can results in batsman's dismissal but bowlers have many chances to rectify their mistakes and come back strongly in the same match.
But being Indian, I hope against the hope that India can win this WC with its strong batting.

Hello suppandi, how are you doing? Are u watching WC? As for me I can only watch match live on Sat & Sun. Sometimes I check score on my iphone. ESPN has done a great job by coming up such ap. I wish they could come up with an ap compatible with live video streaming

You know one thing...just as an average batsmen can look great on flat pitch, an average bowler can also look great on bowlers' friendly pitch against players lacking batting skills.
Sorry to say, now a days when sachin plays means india is on either loser side or tie. Sachin should bowl, it is better for him and country instead of batting. As viru, gauti, yuvi, MS, virat can take care of batting.
we need to look at our bowling, pak can defend 184 but we can't defend even 338. imagine a team with paki bowlers and indian batsmen-simply un beatable

Pak can defend this score against the likes of Canada or Kenya. They can't defend against teams like Ireland, Nederland and Bangladesh. Still agree that they have a much better bowling attack than us.

Yes, I agree with you. If Pakistan & India would have come togather, they would forge ahead the rest of the world as a super power. Brittons have thought about it long time back and ensured it not to happen.
