Shame shame MS DHONI
by SKM Prasad on Mar 03, 2011 11:14 AM  | Hide replies

Ireland can beat ENGLAND. Why can't MS DHONI ? MS is good for nothing. Useless captain of INDIAN cricket. Brainless...Selfish.

1. Brainless DHONI recommended PIYUSH CHAWLA the useless....
2. Great RAHUL DRAVID was sidelined by tamil selfish SRIKANTH.

Pathan must be up in batting order
by robbyrocket on Mar 03, 2011 11:07 AM  | Hide replies

I’m not happy with batting line up too. We know that how Pathan make impact to other team by his batting with strike rate of 150 or more but we are avoiding to send him at 3-4 down order and giving him 2-3 overs which is not fair with him or india. Why not we give him the chance at upper level after Gambhir.
I didn’t understand why dhoni is coming before then him if there is 10-12 overs remaining which we have seen in last tied match.

Dont worry yaar... Dhoni will not come too early againt Australia and South Africa. But, I think he will come to bat at No-4 against Ireland and Holland. He is a selfish player(captain) who is not ready to include Robin Uthappa and Irfan Pathan in the team...

What about that Eng-India tie now?
by Sasanka Mahapatra on Mar 03, 2011 10:48 AM  | Hide replies

there was such a lot of talk about how bad the Indian bowling was in that tie...nobody talked of the terrible Eng bowling at all, forgetting that they allowed us to get that huge total. Indian bowling did well to restrict them to a tie from an almost hopeless situation.

England's captain also stated that they would "surprise" everybody now - little knowing that they wd themselves wd be surprised!

Serves them right! I feel very happy for Ireland, absolute no-hopers at the beginning, now they have something to cheer about. Reminds us almost of India in the WC'83...

Nobody talked about indian batting also. Indian captain is always satisfied with a total of just 300-310. But, there was a chance to score 350 , but india simply wasted the opportunity by putting yuvraj to bat ahead of virat kohli who was in great touch. I admit that yuvi has got a 50 but he wasted so many deliveries in the power play. I am seeing this for the first time that a batsman is simply defending the balls in the power play when 8 wickets are still in hand. If Kohli was batted at that position he would have taken atleast singles and rotate the strike.

We Indians need to be careful against Ireland. They have demonstrated that Nothing is Impossible .England is one of the oldest Cricket Playing Country whereas Ireland is a Beginner .

After the tie which they earned against India in an unfair fashion, can't rule out the possibility of match fixing either.

game

well this will help making game popular in ireland..but still most important is to telecast the game in more countries.like in north america icc is spending so much to make the game popular but on the other hand if u want to watch world cup, the package is like $150.now even people like me who like watching cricket would think twice to spend tht much why would people for who cricket is not a familier sport spend money and if people are not watching how is the game gonna become global.ICC should make effort to telecast matches free instead of spending money on cricket america or canada which goes in the pocket of few asian poeple who r so called the cricket heads in these countries.at least common people will watch and try to understand the beauty of this game

AGreed bro, its like 200$ for full package in Canada, my shit to watch some of these pre-fixed games. I'd rather spend that money on booze and strippers.
This shud be free to promote the game

I meant 200 CAD which could be more than 200 USD. I meant more expensive in Canada.

USD is going down like urine :-)

boss, this is part of fixing ring to make the world cup spicy.
Indians like spicy food, not boring and dull like turkey sandwitch and mashed potatoes.

India will thrash Ireland like anything, one of the players will score fastest 100 in history.
