We have the team but Dhoni seems to be adamant in continuing with the team, which can't do things differently.
Our bowling is too poor and we are short of a specialist bowlling allrounder.
Selectors should have given thought for Abishek Nayyar who is a medium pacer cum batsman.
The team needs little bit of tweaking. Pathan should make way for Suresh Raina.
Pathan is an impact and risk player. We already have risk players in Yuvraj and Shewag.
Raina would do more justice in the slog overs and when it comes to winning for the team in slog overs.. Pathan may or may not click in such conditions..
R Ashwin needs to come in place for Bhajji or Chawla depending on requirement.
Bhajji has become a containment bowler and not the main strike bowler.
The two additions of Raina & Ashwin will strengthen team and would look more attacking in bowling and settled in batting department.

No I think India do have good all rounders but the fact is that they are not consistent. They need some assistance form pitch to take wicket. How can you blame part timers like Yuvraj and Pathan for not delivering if Specialist spinner like Harbhajan and Chawla were not ables to even 'threat' the batsman. I think by advocating in favor of Raina you are becoming too harsh with Virat Kohali. I think it was just the bad captaincy of Dhoni which put India down otherwise with the same bowling resources even a club captain could have won the match by applying all the fielders around 30 yard circle and stopping singles and twos (not allowing English to score free ones and twos and entice them to take risk).

Perhaps Raina in place of Yousuf Pathan could be considered.Nothing more.This happens and Dhoni is clever enough to find a way out.

Indian guru- although I may disagree on other points I definitely agree with your contention Bhajji has become a containment bowler and not the main strike bowler, yes that's correct statement.

mate Venugopalan, Harbhajan is confused about his role, nothing else...he needs celerity and confidence about his role like Zaheer is clear about his role. The strike Bowler who is in the team to take wickets not to contain. Dhoni should tell him that you and Zaheer are in the team for taking wickets and you are our trump card on these spinners friendly tracks ! For containment we have other bowlers !
