match will end draw on day 5 due to heavy rain so india has to take risk like risky declarations like steave waugh for reult oriented test say if today also 30 overs game then tomorrow india has to play like one day or t20 to set some target and declare otherwise as usual boaring draw

if day 3 full 90 overs game is ok then india will be in deep truble because of bouncing pitch only laxman, raina and dravid could cross 75s

we all know u r indian ( not even muslim). U r posting comments just to create a rift. So don't waste ur energy.
The sports section of rediff has no emphasis on our national game hockey.Indian Hockey has got a new foreign coach Nobbs. That's a big news in hockey arena, but rediff has felt no importance of this news,.

Laxman innings shall not be waste due to rain. India may try for innings defeat if rain consumes one or two days
its sad to see that mithun was not effective on a bowling friendly pitch. even sourav ganguly used to bowl at his pace. Praveen bowls at same pace but he is very effective beacuse he can swing the ball both ways. WI batsmen looking comfortable playing Mithun.
Ten cricket channel shouldn't have right to say uninterrupted coverage of India's tour of windies because on the 1 day of 2nd test match live coverage had lost about 10/15min.In that period we loast two important wickets.
TV ratings and tickets in stadium they keep match interesting for 2-3 days. after that WI will be nowhere, kohli century in second inning just wait n watch

Hay, do not talk about the linguistic state. You have no right to talk like this. Talk like an united INDIAN. Once upon a time, cricket is being ruled by Bombay (now Mumbai) and Hyderabad cricketers. 4 4 and others are from remaining states. By that time nobody talked like this. Talent was such that, everybody, was playing good gentlemen cricket. Afterwards, it was dominated by Karnataka. By that time there were 5 persons in our team, from that State. Once, Mr.Venkataraghavan, was named as captain, in the next test 12th man and in the third test, in his native place, Madras, now Chennai, no place, in the team. He was the only player represented Tamilnadu, by that time and Bishen Singh Bedi, from Delhi alone are the other cricketers alongwith, Prasanna and Chandrasekhar. India were not having a Fast bowler and managing with Spinners alone. There are a few Fast bowlers like, M.L. Jaisimha, Ramkant Desai, Abid Ali. Afterwards, the arrival of THE GREAT KAPIL DEV, a lot of Fast bowlers have been come to arena and now India, is having good Fast bowlers and not having the Spin quarter combination of Chandrasekhar, Prasanna, Venkataraghavan and Bishen Singh Bedi. Anyway, now India, has improved in all the fields of cricket and now on the top position and we should always wish the same for ever, but donot abuse a person, not by his language and state.

I find the ICC stand on DRS and "Batsmen showing dissent" to be contradictory. While there is no punishment/fine levied on a batsman asking for a referral (which incidentally may show a thick/clear edge, as recently happened to Mike Hussey I believe), another batsman showing disappointment at a wrong umpiring decision (which recently happened to Suresh Raina and Ravi Rampaul) is penalised. If the umpires' original decision is upheld after a batsman's referral, why isn't the batsman fined for showing dissent ???
