Mishra has bowled in IPL & has been one of the more successful spinners. The bowler,at any level, needs captain's confidence. He will be a different bowler under Sehwag or Gambhir. He has never been given a reasonable run.He was dropped for WC & again brought back. Only he can tell how many comebacks he has made. Good luck to him.
It is true that Mishra was unsuccessful against the tailenders in the first test. But tailenders are always comfortable against spinners as they freely smash every ball without considering its merit. Indian pace bowlers do not have that killing power in their bowling like Brett Lee, Wasim Akram, Mohd Amir etc which would have knocked lower batsmen out by sheer pace. May be only Zaheer Khan is capable of such bowling in India. Mishra was more effective than Harbhajan who is becoming stale lately. However his batting display is favouring him. If Mishra is sacrificed to retain Bhajji it would be sad story.

He needs to work on his physic, especially on shoulders. He tends to get tired too soon & also get frustrated no sooner a batsman goes after him
hotspot technology is good but what about LBW decisions ,well we can ignore ball tracker but on the same time u8se the technology not about predicting where will the ball go & use it where did the ball pitched. Moreover for any batsman the reviews should be available, I mean in a test Match a wicket is a wicket, whether of opener or last man. Thank you Ajay Singh Agnivansh
