Its the victory of BCCIs financial muscle power who is actually running cricket in the few countries.Other cricket boards will have to accept BCCIs dictats as they survive due their matches with Team India.

There should not be any complaints here. It is said that "Jiski Lathi uski bhais"

The irony in this country is that we have to accept ignominy in all other games.

SOMETHING BETTER THAN NOTHING
by damodaran mohan on Jun 28, 2011 01:40 PM  | Hide replies

It is ok.Something is better than nothing. Now India can go with more confidence to play england. But they should not have reduced the no.of DRS to just One.Two was ideal no., neither less nor more.

Actually it should be 3, considering the mistakes done by Darryl Harper recently.

But how did we prove that Harper did mistakes - Of course the Replays ie UDRS.

So, why oppose UDRS?

They are correct
by Kannan Palaniswamy on Jun 28, 2011 01:34 PM  | Hide replies

Players are correct.
There is no way we can predict the bounce of the ball...it depends on lot of factor like speed,Angle, the particular place of the pitch,
Wind,pitch condition ...

So, how the umpire can judge LBW? How an LBW decision can be justified?

Do they matter?
by pradeep agarwal on Jun 28, 2011 01:12 PM  | Hide replies

Indian cricketers other then MSD & SC have no say.MSD for his poor understanding of review system tried to blackmail the entire cricketing world. The ball tracking system was never understood by him which lead to frequent failures of appeals. He therefore decided to dub it as not fool proof. What can u say for a fool who without any understanding of technology calls it not foolproof? The lesser we discuss sachin on leadership issues the better it is & also who advised him on his dress code for visit to Wimbledon? Meeting Fedrer in suit was really hilarious.

There r 2 types of cricket lovers, 1 who wants to see the game in its pure form and 2 who wants the game should modified according to the latest technology available. Nobody can make a judgement who is right and whoz not. too much orthodox or too much technology both r boring and less exciting for the game. MSD has given wat every Indian was dreaming for The world cup twice (in T20&ODI). he deserve much more respect than any other cricketer atleast from our country. I can't understand how anyone can disrespect Sachin who is considered as the God of Cricket. I lyk to have some comments regarding wat should Sachin could wear on a Roland garros Court. ciao

Its gr8 tht u understood technology. nw please go n xplain 2 msd n entire bcci. there ws no mention abt drs n it ws 4 reviewing sachin's leadership skills. was there? may b u r a bit myopic on this part as well....... He wnt to wimbledon wearing a suit or wearing a sherwani is immaterial. its that he WENT there n others who cudnt just mannaged to crib n laugh at others. Trust u must hv got this DRS properly

Pradep, U r a kind of a "all talk and no c*ck" guy.Did u see the match against Pakistan, when sachin took a review of his LBW decision, DRS showed the ball missing the leg stump. Never that could have happened. Anybody can tell that the ball would have hit the stumps. Result, India won the match, cuz of Sachin's innings.
See tats wat the error is. How do u think it would be good bet for them to agree to use DRS with tat crap system. It can happen to any country. Not to mention India has been in receiving end most times.
In England, people wear suit for cricket matches. Do u know that.Sachin looks smart with suit. So dress neatly first. U expect him to wear shots and T-shirt or what. He went there to watch & not play.

U seems to be from the same breed that has never ever entered cricket ground but has all know about game.Sachin & Dhoni are great cricketers but that does not qualify them to interfere with issues outside their domain. Will they ever agree on a suggestion from techie on how to bat?
Hawk eye is best in given situation when some umpires have the tendency to go after key player of the team.Sachin has right to decide what to wear but people have a right to comment as he is in public domain.
