people say because of team made by ganguly dhoni has such a good captaincy record. if that is the reason then why with the same team of sachin, laxman, dravid, sehwag, kumble, zaheer harbhajan etc. ganguly did not have a better record than dhoni?
why dhoni has 15 wins out of 25 and not ganguly? dhoni has 1 win against countries like zim and bangladesh out of 2 matches played against them in his 15 wins out of 25.
while ganguly in his 21 wins out of 49 has 9 wins out of 11 matches against countries zimbabwe and bangladesh...

i am not saying it is a mistake. i am only pointing out that even without playing such weak teams dhoni has such a fantastic record.
while ganguly has a large percentage of his 21 wins as a test captain against zim and BD still dhoni record far better than ganguly.
so it is very unfair and incorrect to say dhoni is lucky and winning due to his team being the one created by ganguly. even dravid and kumble who captained after ganguly were not so successful as dhoni.
the only difference is that dhoni is in CHARGE of this indian team and he has taken it a new level that not even ganguly, dravid or kumble could do...

Yes India is sucesseful in test because of sachin, dravid, laxman, sehwag,ganguly,zaheer,kumble as a player sucessful for last 10 yrs irrespective of who is the captain0 ganguly or dravid or kumble or dhobiji or tom, dick & harry. why india is not successful in t-20 intl after flukw win in 2007. India has lost 80% of T-20 matches in last 3 yrs. Out shamelesly in 1st round of 2008 & 2010 T-20 wcup under same captain dhobiji. Simple because we didn't have seniors playing there. In ODI also we are not consistenet & lost 2 home series against Australia & away seriesin SA under same dhobiji captaincy. Winning at indian flat teack is nothing great. Reason again only 2 senior playing there & what ever significant win mainly due to sachin/sehwag/zaheer. In test 6-7 great senior playing together for last 10 yrs & thats why india is doing well. There is no role of dhobiji there. He is a dummy man born with luck to take care of others credits. In test also we could n't win series in SLK/SA under dhobiji captaincy. Reason again simple india is not good enough to beat SA in SA. Doesn't matter who was the captain

hope sachin does well someday when conditions are not batting friendly. hope someday sachin does well when the pitches are bouncy, the bowlers are of good quality. the conditions are difficult, the target is intimidating. can someone here tell me when did sachin score well in such circumstances?

Never in his life time in any format of game. It is beyond his capability. Even player like kumble/Agarkar has scored century in england agaisnt good bowling attack. Even one day bhajji can make but not this politician dhobiji

He can score only when Medium pacers are bowling on dead Indian tracks.Remember WC final@ wankhade when he promoted himself on similar wicket to win accolades.I wish he has done something similar @ Mohali.

dhoni paid bribe of RS. 15000 to pitch curator for making pitch suitable for dhoni to win but this is not Indian pitch even if it is west indian pitch their Ego should not be hurt. 2007 world cup loss is due to ego hurt due to 1-0 loss in test series so dhoni has to be alert because the conditions are not favourable
