if govt controls bcci, situation will be like WIndies board. when cong is in power, all hindus will be thrown out from the team. only xtian/sc/st/muzzi will play. all money generated will be sent to v-a-t-i-c-a-n and m-e-c-c-a. when bjp comes to power, all xtian/muzzi will be thrown out, sc/st will remain for vote bank, hindus will be brought back. all money generated will be sent to temples and defense.
whatever happens, kasab/afsal guru/kanimoli/raja etc will still not be hanged, u and me will be crying coz we wil be s-c-r-e-w-e-d day and night.

Unfortunately we cannot understand the fixation of pakis with everything Indian. None of the pak players are invited to play in IPL. No Pak company advertises in IPL. But still they have a say on IPL!
It is country in obsession with India!
We have only sympathy for them.
By next year US start exiting. Then the taliban will re-emerge and take over entire pak. pakis just do not realise the danger and want to involve themselves in things which just do not concern them.

The fact of the matter is that Cricket is India's property and the BCCI will want to keep it this way. There is nothing much the other cricket playing countries can do about it since the money is in India. Its about the money honey. Though we might have things to say about the strong arm tactics of the BCCI, there is no one who can fight the BCCI headson. Follow ?

Sohail, I know you studied in madarsa. it is not 'write'. it is right! Correct now.
Secondly IPL is a premier league. It is not a tournament organised/ conducted by ICC. You may remember that ICC has not made window for IPL in their calendar.
Premier leagues are business ventures. A business venture has the right to defend themselves from competition. That is the reason they do not want Sri Lankan premier league. The decision of BCCI is justified.

Wow Sohail, it is not new for u pakis to be commenting about other countries. u have a pig in ur country (pcb/terrorism) for which u claim as holy. for such silly topics related to india, u people start barking! when whites had control of cricket and insulted asians for throwing/chucking/etc u were quiet. when bcci is showing its power by banning its own people from spl, i dont know why u r crying.
take good care of ur cricketers before all other boards ban pcb or restrict players for playing with ur country.

I agree with Sohail to a large extent. Let SLPL decide what it wants to do. But I also think BCCI has a right to decide what it wants to do with its players. The clout that BCCI now has on ICC smacks of over-confidence and to tyranny to some extent. This spell is not good for Int. cricket
BCCI's decision is fully justifiable. IPL is a business venture involving a popular sports. They have the right to defend themselves against competition.
I can't go to Titan and say I want to start a watch company and please help me with technology and experienced staff!
Sri Lankan board wants Indian players because if Indian players are participating there would be interest in India and corporate advt would follow. BCCI knows this and therefore they do not want allow Indian players in the Sri Lankan premier league. Let them play with Afridis, Akmals etc.

Sree, I fail to understand why you keep on berating Shoial pakistan? This speaks very poor of your character. And I am really worried because it paints a negative picture of us Indians. In this forum so far I haven't seen Sohail making any bad mouthed comments.

@ sudeepta chakraborty: its not anyones intention to berate sohail or his country. when his country is in the ditch for all the controversies, this guy is pointing abt silly controversies of other countries (specially india). he writes as if his country/board is a very noble entity. why should we care abt what image they have on us?
