Murali Vijay - Great Asset

Wow, Hope that Murali will replace all the great crickerts in near future with his brillance at 20-20; he can be a hot puller in Tests

That's like a true CSK fan ! Just because his pulls (at times) work at Chennai, doesn't mean it'd work at Sabina Park where , out of the 10 tests played between WI & India, India has won 1 test, drawn 3 tests and lost 6 tests. The less said about Vijay's pulling abailities on fast/bouncy picthes, the better.

Only a double 1. not a triple century !!!!!! Day dreaming. Just because he is a tamilian do not make him a hero. This is always a folly of tamilians. (though I am also a tamilian)

India shouldn't be over-confident as well !
by vijay rajan on Jun 20, 2011 02:26 PM

India shouldn't be Overconfident as well ! Remember, history shows that England were skittled out for 51 on this pitch and WI have won 6 out of 10 tests at this venue. With Roach, Edwards & Rampual, they have a genuine pace attack capable of skittling us out. A shaky & inexperienced opening combination / Dhoni arriving in WI a couple of days prior to the tests / Dravid & VVS playing their 1st test in ages / a wobbly middle order relying on Raina / a weak bowling attack might be the perfect recipe for a disastrous test series. So, let's not fool ourselves by being over-confident due to our No.1 rankings folks. Although it might perhaps be wishful thinking on my part, I hope this Indian team puts up a decent fight atleast and faces the short deliveries with ease.

Over Confident blokes
by andrew charles on Jun 20, 2011 02:07 PM  | Hide replies

Just coz India had tough time in West Indies in previous tours. That doesn't make them so vulnerable against the West Indies attack. Except Chris Gayle they have almost the best available batting line up available still they couldn't win the ODI Series against Indian ODI team that didn't have their regular star players.
