Katich is a decent chap
by A Rajendran on Jun 17, 2011 10:30 PM  | Hide replies

Katich is not like many other Australians who are unsportive and boorish. He was among the few Australians who criticized his side for their role in the infamous Sydney Test. The reasons for his sacking are not convincing. In any case, he is better than Ponting as of now.

Proves selectors are the same everywhere.

he may b just little better then other Aussies, but he is still typical Aussie cricketer. Just look back at the last series in India and how Katich behaved...

To me, they all are about the same..

that is ponting for you

cricket would have been much better game if he never played it

i think he is trying to match greg chappel in cheapness

The comment u have made is biased and not on cricketing knowledge (which i presume u may have....only ur last point on horrible attitute may be true..rest apart...ponting is a class act...one the fittest cricketer of his era...amazing fielder (next only to rhodes)...and a class batsman...give credit where its due man..and dont make a fool of yourself by posting idiotic comments...jus check ponting career record..

he is a class player with a superb tecnique. his foot work against pace bowlers is seen to be believed.

he is amongst great three batsman of his era Sachin , Lara & Ponting.
Though luck was with him that Mcgrath & warne were born not outside AUS

It seems you have expressed hatred towards Ponting. Similar kind of feeling Warne has presented.

Ponting's Classic century against India in current world cup QF under huge Pressure is delight to watch for a cricket lover, and great lesson for emerging cricketers. I suggest you to watch that innings and you will never have such an indifferent feeling for him.

here come self acclaimed cricket gurus
snail pace century in a losing cause to save his face from getting fired means nothing. he can only dream about the inning dhoni played batting second
even drug addict like tharanga score centuries or unknown player form ireland. At least they are doing for their country not to extend their career to satisfy their hunger for money

paper tiger of mediocre bowling on a batting pitch, that too batting first without pressure when gilchrist already set the platform.
typical ponting thriving on other's shoulder. Sehwag knock batting second under pressure was 10 times more poweful when he made their pants yellow at one time

It seems your Cricket IQ is zero.. At one stage he was so close to catch SRT centuries and test run records.. Ricky is one of the best player with a superb technique

S Srikhant,
We suggest you watch more cricket you will know Ponting literally struggled against India in that game. You need to grow up a bit before passing on advices to others
