Finally WI got the pitch which they wanted. Sabina Park, Jamaica pitch is fastest in WI. One stage India was looking to reach 280 but Virat run out turned the match.
First time India had to defend a total and bowling exposed. I had doubt on indian bowling from start of the series.
Well, Rohit and A.Mishra are only two players who can get chance in our first string side.

What this Gilli Danda League could do to harm Indian players was clearly proved yesterday in final ODI. Even when 50 odd balls were still to come Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and Amit Mishra played as if they were in the final over of IPL! IPL will surely ruin many more players and also gift many who may not be fit to play even at State level such as Shikar Dhavan, Manoj Tiwary and Murli Vijay!

It's a bit bothering ... as in the past, with other newly anointed captains in Indian Cricket, is captaincy becoming a big burden for Suresh Raina, since it looks like he is not getting good scores recently, in the WI One Dayers. Would hate to see his aggressive batting laid to waste, because of captaincy priorities.

No its not the captaincy burden. Suresh Raina's technique is always seen wanting on slow pitches and bouncing tracks. he scores loads of runs on flat Indian tracks but always fails whens the pitches are helping bowlers. Mind my words in next 2-3 years may be Rohit Sharma or someone other will take place of Raina in onedayers and Test

Facing quality pace bowling has always been a problem for Indian Cricket. Only a very few batsman have stood up to genuine pace bowlers, especially on fiery pitches. The BCCI could try and create such pitches to enable Indian Cricketers to face fast bowlers with ease. Equally importantly, producing such pitches will also help raise a bunch of quality fast bowlers who can take Indian team to greater heights consistently. The 'home' advantage should not depend on spin bowling, or with good batting on dead flat pitches. BCCI should address this soon enough.
