Secondly, the monopoly over cricket by boards let them ruin talented folks career needlessly. The right thing to do is to provide balance. i.e. International Exposure in liu of share of earnings both ways. Which will mean, if Gayle earns good money from IPL, he should be contract bound to pay WICB a portion of it, and when WICB earns good money from an event a portion is shared with cricketer. In this method, both of them will have vested interest in making both cricket and cricketer gain.
