rediff com it appears only covers the game of cricket. saina nehwal, the so called budding olympic badminton champion(london 2012)today, lost to some obscure taiwanese player in the pre-quarter finals @ singapore open. last week, @ bangkok she had reached the quarters.last month, saina had boasted that she can beat any of the leading chinese players who are ranked above her, but since april she has lost to unknown german/thai/chinese/taiwanese players. last year saina had won this singapore open, because leading chinese players had not participated as they were busy playing their own nationals. saina, though having immense talent has for the past one year been distracted by getting involved in other activities, like advertising for luxury cosmetic products(l'oreal/garnier),watches(tag heur),ramp shows displaying ultra brands of haute couture,& earning huge money. this is the reason for the recent tiff between gopichand(national badminton coach), & saina as she is not taking her training seriously.every time she loses in early rounds, she finds a ready made excuse that she has not fully recovered from the ankle injury, she suffered in november 2010,how long will these excuses be believed. saina can bring a medal for india in london, but for that she has to sacrifice her extra-curricular activities, as easy money is getting the better of her.

Kindly allow rediff.com to cover any game widely other than cricket, so that other sports player also get some share of unrecognised money. In cricket, some wastes like Yusuf, Badrinath, Dhawan etc. are only heating the bench without much work with the bat or ball.

Majority of Indian people watch cricket only, so for you or minority people rediff cannot cover other sports. I think you live in India because you are asking silly question and answering.
