1. Shikar Dhawan ws given three chances and didn't make full use of it, though he came good in one match.
2. In 1978-1980, when Gavaskar was captain, he had the funny and irritating habit of giving one chance to some players and then dropping them for ever like a hot potato - e.g. Yajuvinder Singh, M V Narasimha Rao, Dhiraj Parsana, T E Srinivasan - there are many more, only I do not remember. This does not help any player to give his best.
3. Having given one chance to Manoj Tiwari, he should be continued in the 5th ODI also. Only thing is, he has to be told to have a free mind and play his natural attacking game in the power play overs, just like he played freely in the just concluded IPL-IV. He showed his brilliance in the field taking three catches and running out one batsman in the 4th ODI and it is just a matter of time before he comes good with his batting too.
4. Persist with Badrinath to lend stability in the middle order.
5. I heard reports that the pitch for the 5th ODI will be a pacy one. So go with all three seamers - Munaf, Ishant and Praveen Kumar and one spinner - Amit Mishra. Anyway some overs of off spin can be bowled by Raina, Rohit Sharma and Yusuf Pathan.
6. Do not worry or get bogged down by planning too much about the margin of victory. After all, the series has been won by this total-new-look-all-youngsters team, in the very same West Indies where the seniors had faced ignominy in WC 2007!
