ODI and T-20 doesnot require batting skills. If all the batsmen start playing in a copy book style, then that team will not cross even 100 runs. I can admit you, when Raina will play the test match, and there he has to prove his point. Even SRT most of times does not follow the principles of copy book style while playing in ODI and T-20. And about Dravid, he is no more considered for ODI. Further strategies play an important role. To get work done is one of the famous quality of the manager. Such qualities always help to win, and all players have to perform irrespective of any department.

Asim u are just hyping dhoni captaincy. Its not that india suddenly strated wining. India is winning continously in lasy 8-10 yrs under all captain ganguly, dravid, kumble & now dhoni who continued with it. Only exception was 2007 oDI Wcup where we lost due to bad performance & luck also ( Format was like that- 2 loss & u were out). In 1983 wcup india lost two league matches & still win the cup. In 2011 India lost against SA, tied against Eng & won only gainst minnows but still win the cup. So foramt helped there. Raina in interview told- I learnt captaincy from dravid, kumble & dhoni but your biased eye could read only dhoni. Dhoni captaincy is simply overhyped. Fact is that great team win matches irrespetive of captain.

in what way..? Sachin's captaincy is the main reason why MI failed to win the T20 league..Same Dhoni is the main reason behind Chennai's victory.

Mr venugopal its team that win matches & not captain. Any captain is as good as his team. see example below- Under dhobiji captaincy india win 2007 T-20 wcup. Under same captain India out in 1st round of 2008 & 2010 T-20 wcup loosing all matches. what happened with his captaincy. Now if MI lost in final & S/F of 2010/2011 why captain to be blamed. Even CSK lost in 2008 IPL final & 2009 IPL S/F when dhobiji was captain. why he couldn't win the cup there. Its simple team didn't perform or opposition performed better. So venugopal ji remove the wrong notion of captaincy hype & accept the fact that sachin is billion time better cricketer than dhoni in terms of cricketing ability & who cares for captaincy. If doubt- please consult bradman, richards, lara, warne for honesrt opinion
Dhobiii's only achievements are Winning T20 Final vs Pakistan in the last over - That too because of Misbah's foolish shot, Winning World Cup at Home is not at all a Big deal, CSK Wins in IPL were due to Foreign players & Suresh Raina.

Please praise Sachin. No objection. No doubt Tendulkar is the best batsman in the world. But at the same time Dhoni also possess certain qualities, those also need apprehension. Therefore, one should not be biased.

Good comment....but a mistake in prediction! He will score 6 in 120 balls this time....IF HE SURVIVES THAT LONG!
India has bowling problems from ages. There were bowlers but very few who made impact across globe. Kapil is one of such, even Kumble for most part of his career has terrible record overseas. So don;t know what new Dravid is saying here.

He is just same. Always looking reasons for spoiling Dhoni's party or success as a Captain.
Now he is giving credit to Congress for WC, IPL etc. He must understand that it was because of Sachin's stupid captaincy that Mumbai never won any IPL or CL. and It is Dhoni whose great captaincy won India and CSK the titles. But Suppandi will never understand and say Ha Ha

Hello, Sachin and Dhoni cannot be compared. There is a difference of Ground and SKY between them.
Sky being Sachin, Ground you can assume !
Coming to Selfish Dhoni, current Indian team under captaincy of Raina have played good and this proves Dhoni is no longer required.
In WC2011 semi finals it was with the help of Sachin India won

By the way, in WC2011, under the captaincy of Dhoni Sachin played well in semi finals. But in fanl Dhoni showed him his own class.

some times fluke happens in cricket- Like last over og joginder sharma in 2007 T-20 wcup final. Inning of dhobiji in ODI cup final. That doesn't mean they are world class player. They will always be treated as club level player based on performance over a period
