These Indian pace guys should choose how many overs they will do PURE PACE and how many over of slow and mediums pace. BUT SHOULD NOT BECOME only and only the slow spinners on wrong advise.

chatterjee don't bring regionalism. Mr Bhaskar sharma is northy while Rohit sharma is originally telgu but now mumbaikar. U don't need same surname to praise someone. Among current lot yes rohit is most talented. But consistency, discipline, hardwork & commitment aspect needs to be improved. If he continues sharing dressing room with sachin, he will improve with time as he has got the talent. he is not ordinary player like dhoni who is simply on luck/politics/manipulation. I am also from Bihar but like Rohit sharma batting after sachin. But in terms of personality- he is no match to sachin.

Very well said mr ashish kumar. Dhoni is simply on luck, politics & manipulation. I completely agree. In fact parthiv patel is much more talented batsman than him. Also Dhoni's batting does not display any elegance unlike all the batsmans in indian team.

Whether Dhoni is ordinary player or not is one question. Him being the Best wicket-keeping batsman in India is a fact. Like it or not, Dhoni is here to stay, unless you can bring another more talented wicketkeeper batsman who can double up as a captain.

bhai log...kucch bhi kaho..ut i enjoy watching laxman...he is a delight to watch...deft touch and timing...
Among young players rohit is definetely most talented who can play against quality bowling & also on overseas pitches. He has to improve his consistency & dedication. he must learn from sachin to improve these aspects. But politics of dhoni anyway will not allow him to play for a long.

Crtic- u get lost. it is a hrad known fact that dhoni has created lot of regional politics in ODI/T-20 team & don't give cahnce to desrving player from south & from mumbai. he alwyas prefer northy. For mumbai player like rohit- he has to work extra hard to justify his position in team as long as dhoni is captain. But medicore player like chawla,ishant, praveen,raina,RP singh,Nehra etc gets enough chances even after many failure. India has done well in last few years due to great player like sachin, dravid, laxman, sehwag, kumble, zaheer, yuvi etc & winning series. Thats why dhoni politics is getting covered up. Once india start loosing after these seniors retire from test, dhoni politics will be exposed. BTW i am also from north but hate politics in sports

Ashish Kumar has rightly said Dhoni and all the seniors in the past have prevented the budding players entering the national team.
2. Ishant is needed by Indian team and should be handled well by BCCI.
Instead of only trusting VIDESHI BOWLING COACH, ISHANT SHOULD WORK HIMSELF on no balls, take help of some player on WHERE HE NEEDS to put his second-last step before he delivers to avoid no-balls, MEASURE AND mark how many inches that SECOND-LAST STEP IS BEFORE THE CREASE. He can carry initially inchi-tape and mark place of second last step all the time.
DO NOT FORGET TO DO IT. THIS WAY he can increase his SPEED AND ACCURACY. AND should scrutinize what VIDESH COACH say, just don`t do if NO GOOD.
ishant, there are special exercise available for your height to increase flexibility such as to increase speed without strain (check Micheal Holding smoothness) and increase accuracy. Learn from likes of Micheal holding about variations (height, direction, length, swing, etc) in the releasing balls from the likes of Micheal holding. I can classify akram in later days as slow juggler of ball of prabhakar class, not an accurate pacer.

1. WI wicket-keeper had big role in winning that was missing for india.
we need a taller wicket keeper, Baugh though normal heigh could jump and catch bouncy.
Baugh could catch bouncy ball with one hand while Parthiv missed Ishants bouncy catch ball. Why DONT INDIA HAVE TRAINED AND BETTER WICKET-KEEPER. AT THE PRACTICE NETS, WE DONT TRAIN TALLER WICKET-KEEPER. WI PLANNED the wicket-keeper role well. even pollard planned better use of wicket-keeper to pressure indians.
Everyone can learn from WI keeper how he pressured indians who like to be on front foot by stumping them. WI KEEPER has big contribution in their win by pressuring indian batting. even pollard kept indian batsmen in crease and backfoot so they could not hit big.
...parthiv is too short to catch high and wide balls even if he leaps. parthiv is much slower as well IN COMPARE TO WI wicket-keeper. Try saha. back to 1. also, parthiv`s height makes him difficult for him to keep the ball down when it is bouncy ball. does not play per his height.
NEED to try the next wicket keeper (saha), nothing to loose

no he is fan of politician dhoni & hence can't digest success of parthiv patel. Fact remains patel is far superior to dhoni in terms of batting skill & wicketkeeping. Dhoni is simply a lucky guy who is allowed to play after many failures with bat but talented player like patel/kartik thrown out of team after one series failure.
