Fantanstic in bowling, batting and fielding.

aarti sharma, i dont criticise sachin without reason. whatever i have written about him is true whether you believe/understand it or not...

yes what you say is true. people may break my bones but what else to expect from blind sachin fanatics or rather fantards (as somebody here has coined the term, it means mentally retarded fans, and i agree with it completely)

aarti it is true that such idiots will not stop at verbal abuse and will resort to physical abuse. yes aarti the people like you describe stone houses of players like kaif and dhoni or hurt opponents/competitors of their favourite players like a steffi graf fan stabbed monica seles...

but aarti i am not afraid and i dont care about such weirdos...if you feel any love for them it is your choice...

but believe me such people who stone people's houses or stab their competitors are actually a source of shame, embarrasment and dread for such celebrities...if you take pride in being one of them what can i say?

and let me tell you that sensible people who know me also respect me and love me. i also dont need any certificate from you...

Re: Re: well said yuvraj
by sunil vaidya on Jun 08, 2011 04:57 PM
aarti, dhoni does not fail on flat tracks on which sachin scores runs. but when that happens usually sachin scores more runs because he gets first chance by virtue of taking advantage of it because he is a opener.

take for example sachin's 200 not out against the 'mighty' SA side against their 'mighty' attack. in the same match if sachin made 200 in about 25 overs you forget that other indian players also added another 200 runs in remaining 25 overs.

so if sachin scored 200 not out dont forget that dhoni also scored 68 odd runs in 34 odd balls and in the process he also belted SA and world's no. 1 ranked bowler styen for 17 runs in one of his overs....

aarti he did not fail. in fact it was becauase of him that we reached respectable scores...

but you wont understand that. your cricket knowledge is very poor. if you call those scores of 20s and 30s as poor you are really should brush up your cricket knowledge...i suggest cricekt for dummies...in a few centuries you will learn enough to argue inteligently with me...

aarti there is difference in the batting positions of both of them. ask dhoni to come at the above the order and he will do better than sachin. but if sachin comes down in dhoni's batting position sachin will fare even worse...

aarti except against aus he did well against other 3. against SA he remained not out because other wickets fell in a heap. it happens once in a while. against eng and pak he scored decently...
in fact it was sachin fault that it we did not win against SA and eng...both times it was he who got out in batting powerplay and put india into problem. you probably will not understand it but it is the set batsmen who are supposed to take advantage of the batting powerplay by increasing run rate without taking undue risks and most of all without losing their wickets...that is exactly what sachin did both times. he got out both times to rash shots and it was left to the batsmen NEW to the crease to take advantage of the batting powerplay. and dhoni and yuvraj did not fail either. dhoni scored 31 runs in 25 balls and despite being new to the crease was playing with the runrate of about 8!

against pak too, dhoni had to consider that he could not go bang bang after coming to the wicket after what had happened in the previous matches and wickets had to be preserved so that during last overs more runs can be scored...

aarti let me also point out to you that despite those 2 centuries against sa and eng we did NOT win those games. and yet we reached the finals and won it! so sachin was not exactly responsible for putting us in finals...even in finals sachin got out early and put pressure on the next batsmen and it was new generation players like gambhir and dhoni who rarely fail under pressure (unlike sachin) that we could win the final comfortably without any anxious moments.

aarti finally let me also tell you that dhoni is famous as a great finisher and someone who keeps cool under pressure and has a wining attitude...unlike sachin who is only famous for his records (all quantity and no quality/substance) and somebody who is always known as somebody who just flatters to deceive and gets out before taking india past the finishing line...

aarti sharma, i have replied to and refuted ashish kumar statements so many times...

you expect dhoni who comes so down the order to hit 50s and 100s like top order batsmen. that shows the level of your cricket understanding...

you expect somebody who has come after 35-38 overs to hit 50 and 100 in the last 12 overs (out of which he probably will get to face a around 6 overs) and have an aggregate total that a batsman who comes at no.1 or no. 2 a batting position which has the potential to face about 25 overs(half of 50 overs) shows that you have zero understanding of cricket. you want dhoni to be as good as sehwag, laxman, dravid, ganguly etc. before being compared to kapil, sachin and gavaskar?
you wont understand it but dhoni's is india's best odi player to date, better than sehwag, sachin, gavaskar, kapil and others. there is nobody else in the indian team who is so street smart and fearless and having such a winning attitude and one who never gives up and continues to fight no matter what the situation and more often than not comes out a winner. dhoni is known as a batsman who keeps his cool under pressure and finishes a game even though the side is in difficult situation. sachin for yor information was never in his career of 20 plus overs ever recognised as somebody who can bat well when the chips are down or as somebody who can finish a game.
dhoni for your info. has played 166 innings to complete 6000 odi runs while sachin needed 169 innings....

dhoni was no. 1 ranked batsman in odi in icc rankings for 2 years. that somebody who comes so down the order to be on top position for so long a period shows how good he is...dhoni is the only batsman in the world who has batted from no. 2 to no. 8 with success and according to the fullest potential of each batting position even better than specialists of that particular batting position..

after understanding your level of cricket knowledge i have lost interest in replying to you...i have given reasons why i consider sachin as not the best. you say nothing about my points and instead bring out irrelevant opinions of others which are on wholly other issues and not the weaknesses and deficiencies of sachin i pointed out. even ashish kumar writes better than you and brings out points to admire sachin and belittle dhoni no matter how laughable they may be. but you dont even have your own views about why dhoni is not good and why sachin is good. you only parrot opinions of others without a word/view of your own. i am sorry but i dont want to reply to such people and this is my last post addressed to you as you are too beneath my level to reply to....
