Shikar Dhavan
by Ramdas Nayak on Jun 07, 2011 03:14 PM  | Hide replies

In spite of his half century he does not deserve a place in the team. His batting is pathetic. His timing is horrible. His stance at the crease going down and up is irritating. His running between the wickets is terrible which cost Parthiv Patel his wicket. He should be rested for remaining matches and Virat Kohli should open the inning with Patel.

The report about the match is incomplete without mentioning one solid mid order player S Badrinath. U seem to have completely forgotten him. Is the North--South prejudice still prevalent even among reporters/? Grow up wake up!!

PARTHIV MUST OPEN THE INNING WITH VIRAT KOHLI, ONE DOWN Y. PATHAN, THEN SAME ORDER AS THEY REGULARLY PLAY. ALSO TAKE TWO SPINNER ONE BHAJJI OTHER SHOULD BE R.ASHIN.

I THINK THIS IS THE BEST COMBINATION TO WIN ALL MATCHES IN WEST INDIES..

I agree. Pathan should go in as No.3 with instructions only to hit. He appears to be confused when coming to bat as he was the last recognized batsman and does not know whether to be defensive or offensive. Return catches are offered mostly from confusion.
