First sort out the issues in your team(For ex batting depth) and backup for steyn and then talk about challenging India, which is head and shoulders above everyone else? Even with a c team, India beat the windies 2 days back, so we know the reserve strength India possesses.

nothing is impossible in criket..yesterday aussies were champs today we know, where they are in cricket.today India is on top, tomorrow who knows..everything is possible, it is a game of chance..any one with a little luck and lot of hard work can reach the top...

Aussies have Greig Chappel now. He is master in demoralising players. Chappel tried to choke Sachin, but after his era, Sachin bounced back. Aissies lost thier place because they did not concentrate on creating "Bench Strength" i.e. capable players not finding place in the team. In India we have Team B, Team C. We can predict future of Indian cricket after tour of WINDIES.
Pity wells up in my heart as I see Smith mouth his inanities. Who said India shall forever sit on that high perch? Of course one day we shall be upstaged. Only to climb back again. There is only one way to go from the top. Be that as it may, its only India's positivity that got them there. Smith doesnt want to get to the top. He wants to dethrone India. Its a subtle difference that makes this comment a negative one. But again, after making such a 'beeping' mess of his world cup (mis)adventure, the poor soul has to say something as per his macho image.
this f00l thinks india is no.1 bcoz of kirsten. so if kirsten joins SA as coach they too can bcome no.1 but what he fails to understand is that kirsten only inherited a team that was already battle hardened and it was only a matter of getting their act together after kirsten came to india. its bcoz of such stupid skewed logic that SA has never been able to perform when it mattered the most. "chokers" tag is an understatement for smith and his team.
There is no point in beating your chest after being floored in contest.SA is no match to India as of now & the only team that can give fight to current number one is England on a day when it clicks.

now now the "singhes" and "weeras" and "abcdef..xyz tungas" of lanka will be offended by what you say. They in their opinion are the number one ranked team in the world and only they are capable of challenging themselves. Others are not :)
