All players are now retired, so what the fun to questioning them now?

Very Correct. These things are rubbish. And Why TilakRatne quite till now. If he knows everything before then Playing with Fixers is big crime then match fixing. No Use now to mentioning such things.

mr. RATne is playing politics, why is he coming out now? there's no way Aravinda and Sanath fixed matches, two of the best natural players from the Indian subcontinent. mr. RATne is FAKE.

I mean, Arvinda De Silva and Jayasuriya are among my favourite players. Now this guy is talking after so long, so whats the point? Its like all Indian bureaucrates give suggestions after retiting for improvements in their departments.

Where was this Tilakratne all these years . if he knew about match fixing why he did not bring it up then ? Why now when the players he is targetting are retired and nothing can be proved ? Fact is Sri lanka cricket board is highly politicised and controlled by the sports ministry unlike BCCI which is an autonomous body. Where ever there is Govt control , be it Srilanka or Pakistan, there is huge mess in managing the affairs. Tilakratne is alos in politics and belongs to opposition party. He wants to discredit the current board and by proxy the governement. Thus all this muck. Maybe he want to in the board to take a piece of of the cake.

Rightly said. Tilakaratne was an average cricketer and the integrity of Aravinda & Jayasuriya cannot be questioned just by hearsay or the verbal volleys.

Match fixing is common

Many teams indulge in match fixing. India is not an exception. From the body language of the players, you can easily make out whether the match was fixed or not. Even if the players are honest, bookmakers threaten them to under perform
