Please do not compare Vinay with Malinga. Let him play and prove himself first. Time will tell if he is as good as Malinga or another case of regional selection compulsion product.

I dont know much about Vinay but 'He' should never be a chucker and under arm bolwer called Malinga. In fact no Indian bowler should be like Malingas or Murlis. You should inspire from Hadlees, Lillies, Imran and Wasims. Why ? because it was far more difficult and required more perseverance to bowl out players in test matches than T20. Anyways, thats my opinion
Knowing that u come from very humble back ground, its a moment of pride even for us to see you in Indian jersy, May God bless you and wish you come out of flying colors
If we what to be on top of cricket world.. than its the high time to unearth some real talent and nurture it under the careful guidance... we know what happened to Ishant Sharma as well as Irfan Pathan... Vinay Kumar is ordinary bowler... but we need some one special like Srinath or Zaheer... who can atleast give good start on which our spinners can benefit.. and later on they can finish off the tale... India such a big country.. why dont we get good quality fast bowlers?? big question mark.... ??

We won the world cup only because of our batsmen. It is time bowlers show their worth too

Yes, our flat pitch bullies were given flat pitches to strike at will. We will see them dance to short pitch balls pretty soon. Bowlers struggle hard in India and will do good in bouncy conditions abroad, give them their dues.

That is sheer ignorance, he does not bend his arm. His hand is above his shoulder level. Read some rules

He has a horizontal swing as against vertical rotation of others. It is perfectly legal and causes less strain on the shoulder joint.
Now that India has got some bowling talent, it wud be best to give more opportunities and rotate them. Most probably Zaheer Khan will not be availabel for next WC, so we need to get some good bowlers capable of performing on any wicket like Vinay Kumar (he can bat decently too), Umesh Yadav (yet to prove himself), Ashok Dinda (Yet to prove), Varun Aaron (Yet to prove), Pradeep Sanghwan, Yomahesh (Yet to prove), Kamran Khan (Yet to prove) and finally Irfan Pathan (yet to prove again!)
