Viv eating his words
by subramaniam srivatsa on Jul 20, 2013 11:17 PM

In the past Viv has given interviews saying - Sunny was the best indian bat he'd seen from close quarters facing all the West Indian quicks. He compared sachin and sunny clearly with the following statement "if I were to bat for my life it would be sunny, whole for any entertainment or crowds it would be sachin" so wonder what's happened to him now. The IPL certainly seems to make anything possible ;)

It's about money, Honey!

With India running World Cricket, Sachin has to be the best batsman ever.
Some over-enthusiasts rate him even higher than Bradman, whose batting average is nearly double that of Sachin, but I am not surprised.
It's about money, Honey.

I am sure even after these comments by one
of greats of cricket Sir Vivian Richards there
are lot of fools in India - who dont understand
cricket - will keep on critisizing Sachin.

Sachin is ever green batsman and fielder
by SAPRA on Jun 05, 2011 07:25 PM

can you believe that a person who is in his 40's stills tries to stop ball from reaching four by diving which sachin frequently does

ho's who of test cricket III
by sanjay on Jun 05, 2011 05:29 PM  | Hide replies

Kallis struck 19 centuries while SA won 69 tests he played 25.5 %
Lara struck 8 centuries while Windies won 32 tests he played 25 %
ponting struck 28 centuries while AUS won 99 tests he played 28.3 %
Sachin struck 20 centuries while India won 61 tests he played 32.7 %

So Sachin has contributed more to win to the country he has played
than others

Sanjay

I understand what you are trying to project. But to be honest a century is a century. Century in a winning /losing cause is something the LOSERS have invented to reduce the credit of winners.

The only reason when sachin scores century and india loses the match is because when he plays well, the other batsman donot contribute with their bat thus India loses most of the times when sachin plays well.

in other words you agree that sachin does not win matches. it is the other players who win matches by playing well and at those times sachin does not contribute....

tendulkar 4th innings of test match

50 innings 1371 runs 15 not out 39.17 average 136 highest 3 100s 5 50s

gavaskar 4th innings of test match

33 innings 1398 runs 9 not out 58.25 221 4 100s 8 50s

Sanjay and Sameer as you can see sachin has played 17 innings MORE than gavaskar but still has LESS aggregate runs.

gavaskar has scored with 58.25 runs average in the 4th (!) innings of test matches. Sachin has scored with 39.17 average even

that is very inflated because of so many not outs!

gavaskar has scored 12 innings of 50 plus in 33 innings i.e. a 50 plus score per 2.75 innings sachin has 8 scores of 50 plus

in 50 innings i.e. a 50 plus score per 6.25 innings. sachin has played 17 innings MORE than gavaskar in 4th innings of a test

match yet has 4(!) 50 plus scores LESS than him!

They scored odi good score and india won-

Kohli

5 out of 54 matches played 9.25 %

8 out of 54 matches played 14.81 %

dravid

8 out of 339 matches played 2.35 %

47 out of 339 matches played 13.86 %

sachin has 143 50 plus scores in 442 innings that is a 50 plus score each 3.09 innings.

Dravid has 94 scores of 50 plus in 313 innings that is a 50 plus score each 3.32 innings

with his match winning innings of 91 not out (for some reason many people dont like the word not out after dhoni's score) (in 78 balls) dhoni completed 6000 odi runs. For this he took 166 innings.

Sachin completed HIS 6000 odi runs in 169 innings.

sachin in his entire career so far has batted at positions 5 or below that only 41 (!) times...

Dhoni in his 166 odi innings so far has batted at positions 2-4 ONLY 34 times and at positions 5 or below that 132 (!) times. YET he completed 6000 odi runs in 3 innings LESS than sachin tendulkar...

Sunil Gadiaya is the typical loser i come across every day.

This item is not worried about its performance or ability. It is more worried about the performance/ability of others. Instead of improving itself, it tries to bring down the others value so that its deficiency doesn't look horrible

by LG on Jun 04, 2011 05:12 PM

Some of the posters who are total failure in life and whose life revolve around these message board to feel alive, want to decide everything for Sachin--from when to retire and which series to play to who should he donate money to and how much he should earn

isn't is strange that these people who could not plan their life and careers think that they can plan things for one of the greatest achiever like Sachin.

This shows how frustrated these handful of posters ( with multiple IDs)are with themselves as failed human beings.

But then, neither I nor anybody can change these handful of posters ( with multiple IDs)...so we should let them enjoy living in fools paradise.

If anyone wants to know about status of Sachin..go to stadiums in any part of the world...adulation and admiration for him you will witness, will tell you the true story-that is he is KOHINOOR.
