Uv can not last long by playing defensive test cricket so best thing for him to play as in like 20-20 if he can do lil sehwag and get some quickfire 60-70 runs ..that will help a lot instead playing 50 balls and getting 10-15 runs.

Hello Mr Das!

The English that you wrote was definitely wrong and I have gone over it again, for your benefit! Yes, if recognizing excellence in foreigners is anathema to you, I would happily be called a "firangi", and I care a damn about it! Get a life, you loser! I give credit where it is due, unlike you! And if my own country (India) does well, I would be happier than you! At the same time, I shall not be blind to excellence in others, which you obviously are!

Sreesanth, the great
by Chalte Jao on Jul 30, 2011 10:30 AM  | Hide replies

Its good to see Sree bowling well. But he should also be aggressive on the field. During the test series in SA, he abused the mother and sister of Graem Smith, and sure enough Smith got out soon. Of course, abusing someone's mother and sister may be a bit extreme, but these white players are no angels and often resort to racist abuses. So its not a bad idea to have a character like Sreesanth in our team who can rattle the opposition with his banter.

And Dhoni should not be so publicly critical of Sreesanth's behaviour. All those things can be said in private, but publicly he should always support his players.

And you are far from being an angel! By advocating the use of abuse, you have shown yourself to be no different from the white players whom you accuse! So, get a life, you loser! It is because of pseudo-patriots like you that Indians get a bad name!

India did not have the T20 field and bowling for broad and swann.

for T20, the wicket-keeper stand close to wicket, bowling is on one side of the stumps and fielding is placed accordingly for catch or run out.

we missed out on T20 bowling and fielding when swann and broad were playing t20.
Last time Prior was playing T20 as well with broad.

Neverthless, Prior was canned this time though guys were unlucky with Broad. congrats for getting the top order.

Day 01 analysis
by surya das on Jul 30, 2011 09:49 AM  | Hide replies

A quick analysis on Day1.It was huge set back for India after confirmed Zaheer and Gambhir are going to miss the 2nd test. Its like adding salt in wound. And, we went on toss, after winning the toss we again elected to field first, which was again a debate at commentry end. Indeed it was a brave decision.

Then intial hours we got two quick wkts which gave little mental strength to our bolwers like Sree (who got an opportunity here). @nd session was crucial for us, when we took 6 wkts given 74 run ( Eng was verge of collapse at 124/8), everyone of us assumed that they will be bowled out under 150, but after drinks Broad ( who is in golden touch both in ball and bat) recscued them with Swann a 74 partnership stand, made our team's all effort into a disarray. But thanks to P Kumar for his perfect line and lenth with good variation..we managed to broke that partnership. And, at the end Eng was bowled out at 221.

India's batting :Certainly we should believe Mukund's temprement was not wrong but it was his wrong foot work and judgement that even in very first ball.It could ve been better to judge few balls before to play shot. The first ball, India lost her only opener who is playing in this test (after Sehwag and Gambhir both are out due to injury). It was possibly worst start anyone could ve imagined. But, it is game of cricket, anything can happen at any time. Thanks to our most experinced and legends who did not make further loss, and at stumps we were 197runs behind.

A comparison with Lord's
by A Singh on Jul 30, 2011 07:53 AM  | Hide replies

India has already achieved on day 1, what took them 3 days to achieve at Lord's: They have avoided the Follow On!
Accordingly, they should achieve on day 3 what took them 5 days at Lord's to achieve: A Crushing Defeat!

Mr Das!

You first lick the Brits' feet and learn some correct English before commenting about someone else! ("Loose" for "lose"; "in world map" for "on the world map"; "in verge of" for "on the verge of"). With people like you calling themselves Indians, I guess India would soon lose its identity on the world map! Get a life, you loser!

Mr Hari N, thank u for correcting my preposition "on world map". But same time where did u find my line was wrong " losing their identity" on world map. Go check out b4 u suggesting to someone.. it's like u tell others 3 1 =4 , if some one wrote 5-1 =4 is wrong.. dont be over smart.. Another thing, go by ur words, you mean to say if u are not good in english.. India will lose her identity on world map? So, India knows on world map for english.. u are big loser, and confirmed slave of firangis.. its not me or any other Indians..rather a mar00n like u who lick firangis a$..are shame of India.. So, get ur life..u insane mar00n.. And, at the end.I am not a loser..its u a boot licker is a loser..definitely sad part for us..tht these lickers are also part of India..

And, A Singh.. dont show drama here.. that u dont abuse others.. by abusing India is worst that abusing any individual.. get a life..

Great line of argument. If I say India is not in a winning position, it is abusing India. If I continue to argue with you, I shall have to stoop to your level.
Be happy. India won the Lord's Test, and is going to this one too.

My dear friend.. did u read ur line b4 u posting.. if I am not wrong where ever u post this line.. only people are abusing to u..which means everyone is wrong and u are right.. haha..

No need to stoop to our level, because b4 u coming to that level u must positive attitude and self belive..which u dont ve.. Secondly, India lost one wkt, and u confirmed that India is crushing another defeat.. what a thought process u ve!

Dont behave like that "Hari N"..who is a boot licker of firangis..if someone abuse to those firangis..he starts barking like a boot licker.. Now, u understand ur lines..and find out why 100% people abusing u except one boot licker Hari N

Right around the tea time, the sky should start clearing up and Sunday looks very clear.

So if India doesn't loose too many wickets in first three hours, they can pile on runs late in the day and on Sunday
