india should accept it
by satish nithyanandam on Jul 30, 2011 10:17 AM

india can be a powerhouse in cricket finance and administration but it has to accept the DRDS. BCCI is behaving like world policeman USA in not accepting it when most of the other countries have.

Agreed-bcci's stand was amateurish, arrogant and without substance-but it's amusing to note the childish cries of flower, swann, broad and other english players-who think everything is lost due to absence of DRS-why?
probably the english mentality is to cringe-mates-why not just shut up and accept the age old custom-umpire is the king and leave it to him-afterall u won the 1st test-gavaskar is spot on-reg-the english-they are pampered,elite,egalitarian-and yes-they talk too much-G Muralidhar

yes, had there been full drs, it would've been in india's favour.

why only India doesn't want this when all other players want it? If any decision against tendulkar is given wrongly, we cry more than this....

Absolutely right Mr. Flower they not want UDRS because they want indecent proposal from the umpire and if so not happened than they blame the umpire on the name of partiality?

Whites never speak against Whites....!

Steve Waugh was hugely against excessive use of technology which takes away beauty of the game and was quite vocal about it.

Nobody criticised Steve Waugh....Why...?

Simple answer ... What was colour of his skin...?

KP was out and DRS overuled it
by Injun Abhi on Jul 29, 2011 02:06 PM  | Hide replies

KP was out caught before he even scored 100 and refereed, guess what the technology gave him Not out. Even all the English greats Boycott, Aggers, Vaughn - they all confirmed that KP was out.. That KP decision costed India a test and no still whining from India. I stand behind India o DRS!!!

DRS didn't overule it. It was umpire's review . asad rauf didn't give him out and asked for a review.

boycott is unnecessarily criticizing asad rauf. it was difficult to make out that catch in real time and rauf made the right decision to opt for the review. I personally feel dravid grassed the catch.

boycott might be true that tv replays can be inconclusive in this matter, but you can make that out from the replay and it surely was grassed .

good thing is dravid did not claim the catch, he is not a cheat like some aussies are claiming bumped catches.

To make this game..

more bowler friendly you have to include drs for lbw. in the first test you saw many decisions that couldve gone in bowler's favour had there been drs for lbw.
