India Will Bounce Back
by Hanumanji Prasad on Jul 29, 2011 10:26 AM

This time India will emerge as winners. We have the habit of losing 1st test and come back strongly after the defeat. Now our players are used to English conditions.Take the below points:
Put 1st innings score to 450runs.One of our top 3 Batsmen should hang thru'out the innings.Bowler to keep their length and line perfect and swing the ball as much as they can.Our spinners should be handy to give pacers the confident.Forget the past and start a new test with positive mind.Good Luck India.Dravid should play a pivotal innings again.

And getting yuvraj in place of bhajji will be fruitful. I am sure yuvraj can atleast two wickets. And Get Sreesanth where trintbridge helps a lot to swing bowler.. I am sure we will win this test match... Watch out once again for dravid Batting. The Mainstay of Indian Cricket since 1996. Hope Sachin will get his big hundred here.. And youngsters grab the opportunity...

It's obvious for team India to get back in to the second test after a big defeat in the lords ! By looking at previous few matches we say that indian team takes a time to adjust to the situation and they rock the field ! so be awarer of it english mens !

Living in fools paradise and Ostrich strategy !!
by Ian Chappell on Jul 29, 2011 06:33 AM  | Hide replies

I think Dhoni should keep this fact in mind also that in the past Indian team was better prepared to do so(comeback) because they had better players to fight and they also had pride and faith in there abilities. Right now it looks as if every player is relying on his fellow team mate to do the job for India i.e. all the 11 players are relying on other 10 players of the team to do the job...this would not take you anywhere Mr. Dhoni and this is not the right way to motivate your depleted side ! You guys must know Ostrich strategy as well when it comes across any danger ! Dhoni is doing the same thing what Ostrich does in danger !!

ohh yes....I forget that your strike bowler Mr. Obnoxious weed is not taking wicket since '??' how long?...I don't know !! Your strike bowler Mr. Zaheer is a CHEATER who cheated his team in an all important match by going into the match despite knowing that he is not fully fit !
Your team doesn't care about the pride of being no. 1 ! Your team's captain is more concerned about his wife's affair and not concerned about team's cause !

The England cricket team's credibility for test playing nation was in doubt not long ago. Thier historical association with the game saved them. Now they beat india in one game and racists like Bothom, Boycott and Donald jump to thier defense.Wow. The British team has been brutalized by the Aussies for the past decade. The Indian's locked thier horns with them and after a struggle of 3-5 years acheieved it.

I do not blame Gambhir or Zaheer for getting injured by playing IPL. A sportsman has a 10-15 years window for playing and 3-5 years of making big money. Countrys and fans do not take care of players after they have retired.

The problem lies in the indian cricket adminstration and selection. Overreliance on a few world beaters would eventually result in a decline. Learn that from Australia. If a country's top three batsman are nearing 40, there is definitely a problem.

If Zaheer gets injured with get Nehra in. He is the second seniormost bowler in the country. If u need an other lefthander get RPSingh or Pathan. These decisions should have been made before the tour. Else if Sreesanth and Munaf are in the team , trust them. Ask Sachin to open. Rotate players not to make them insecure but to have a healthy bench strength.

India should go into second test with 4 pacers and include Yuvraj. Use Ishant and Sreesnath to open the attack. Follow it up with Munaf and Praveen. Hit England so hard and fast that they know they are facing the world no 1 team.

Man, Gambhir is doubtful. Dhoni will opt Yuvi and Mukund to open. Ideally test team should consist of 5 batsmen,5 bowlers and a keeper
